In 2012, Masanori Sekiya, a Le Mans winner and former manager of TOM'S Racing Team, announced a new racing series called Inter Proto Series, with a principle that drivers' technique, not the vehicle performance, should have been the main factor of race results in motorsports. Therefore, It was also announced an one-make racing car "kuruma" ("car" in Japanese) was used in this championship. Tag teams of an amateur and professional driver will compete.

kuruma is produced by racing garages around Fuji Speedway and costs less than modern racing cars because of specified parts, a long-life engine and gearbox, and the regulation that prevents an extreme development race. What makes this car unique is a deliberately high-drag body to create battles by making a slipstream effect stronger and no driver assists in the car to realize the principle.

...Looks interesting, but that thread title needs a rethink...:indiff:

Edit: So the title's been amended. But still, hmm. Doesn't feel complete, does it.

I was suspicious for a second there! I thought it was the Karin Kuruma from GTA V!

Looks like an Elise meets a P1!

Wait, that's called the Hennessy Venom GT.
