This race keeps kicking my butt, I've had B-Spec race this for me a few times just to see if it would win. I led 18 of the 24 hours, I just don't know what to tune my car to. I have the Minolta and the BMW V12, those are my primary super type cars. I just haven't the foggiest of how to specifically dial in settings to maximize my car.

Also, is it possible for the B-Spec driver to become a better driver? I heard some mention of that and I'm not sure if that is accurate.

Search this forum for information instead of posting a new thread. This is for race reports only.

But in response to your post:
1)You should A-spec the race, you are significantly faster than your B-spec driver.
2) You can win with either car, but the Toyota 88c-v is probably easier.

Honestly though, you should not B-spec this race if you haven't won it yet. Better to just A-spec the race and leave it on pause when you don't have time to race.

Yes you can, but it takes lots of time- you might want to do a seach for the "10,000 point B-spec club"
GT40 MKII
me i used the pescarolo judd c60 fast as**** but won
As you mentioned above, I used the same car and owned them badly. If Iremember corectly the sarth 2 was the one with the bends in the straights? I you want to B-spec it, use the FGT

Sarthe II has no chicanes in the straights.
I A-specced this entire race in the Audi R8 that I won for A-speccing Sarthe I.
Piece of cake even against the Sauber, Minolta, Nissan R89C and Jaguar XJR-9. Closest competition came from Mazda 787B, since his tyres lasted longer than everyone elses.

Believe it or not, this race is quite easy:tup:

Last night I finally finished it...Finally on B-spec!

And won by an easy 5 laps; my settings:

Try using a Playstation Pescarolo 04'

Standard Settings:but,

Racing Super-Hard Tyres
Turbo Stage 4

Gear Ratio: Auto Setting: 20-25.

The scary thing about this race is, when your tyres are only yellow, the B-spec driver is forced to pit as there is only 4-5% of fuel left
:scared:

Chuck it on 3x speed on >Medium, and you should be fine👍
and you should especially gain a nice lead on the massive Sarthe' Straight (Yes, no turns!)

P.S: As a well known, but cheap tip, try not to enter this race against the 787B or the Sauber Mercedes (but he should'nt be much problem) If you don't want a challenge in B-spec.
