Laguna Seca 200 mi with a.......Nissan Skyline!?!?

Ever since i unlocked the endurance hall....i have wanted to do the Laguna Seca 200 forever but i hadnt desided what car i should use :dunce: . So i researched and researched and finnaly found the car that was destined for this race. The Nissan Skyline R34 GTR V-Spec 2 Nur!!! . To my suprise ....it wasnt as fast as i thought....so i took it to the Auto Shop for an oil change......303 hp.....still not enough if i wanted to be able to beat the AI's. So i took the GTR to the HKS tune shop and the hooked me up with a stage 1 turbo and some other gadgets to help....when i left i was sitting in a car with almost 550 hp...way better than the stock 293. So i went to race. When i first got there...i wasnt impresed with the field so i left and came back with a Saleen S7, Dodge Viper SRT-10, Corvette GrandSport, Commaro SS, and me....the lonesome tunner......Right from the start i was awsome....then come lap 30 the S7 hits me right down the hill........and i said.....u mother 🤬 💡 im gonna kick ur 🤬 . so i did at turn 1......he was stuck for about 30 sec....lol. Anyway....about lap 70 my arms were shackin like a mother so i took a 5 min break.....came back and picked it up and finished in first. with this car u need to pit on every 10 - 20 laps(dependes on the tyres).well after collecting my 200,000 cr and 250 a-spec pts....i was awarded the 69' Ford GT40....and went to test it. And ill tell u....now i no why the AI always loses in the GT40....it has one of the worset breaking and ....well one of the worst steerings ive ever seen. Any way this was a race definetley raceing again

(P.S:if you tune the skylie all the way up......it has almost 1000 HP!!!  :sly: :dunce: :)

Good writeup.

I can believe that the Skyline could win that race easy, it's often underrated as a car because people dont realise it's potential for as you say, literally in excess of 1000HP!

I sympathise with you on being rammed by the great big American Saleen, which is a heavy car, and would do exactly the same as you did in retaliation!

However, I cannot agree with you over the GT40, it may have slightly, ah, unreliable stopping methods but you have to bear in mind this is a car that is 36 years old now, and technology then was nothing near the levels it's at today. Another thing to bear in mind is that it acheived FOUR Le Mans victories SUCCESIVELY, going straight into the fray and coming out on top first time round. So it's pretty good for what things were back then.

As far as I know, you can't get 250 for a race, only the driving missions...
Well, if when I tested the maximum point value of a race with a Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex in the Gran Turismo Championship and came up with 200pts, surely a Skyline against a Viper can't be worth 250? Maybe Enduros can be worth more, can you confirm what you got for us please TeamWilliams?
