For Super GT, a version of the Murcielago R-GT was created and given to the JLOC team. The team would end up finally having success as in 2006, the team would not only end up finally getting its first win in Super GT, but it would also get the first international win for the Lamborghini Murcielago.

I am afraid to say the photo you used is wrong. The car in the OP photo was taken in 2005, when this car was in GT500 class. In final round, JLOC (Japan Lamborghini Owners' Club) decided to change classes from GT500 to GT300.

This is the one you are suggesting.

Thanks, its was really hard to tell which one was the GT300 car. Photo added.

hsv
Yellow number backing = GT300. ;)

OH, that's how. See I was just able to tell what class by what car was racing so I never payed attention to that. This is the only Super GT car where I had trouble telling apart classes.
