Lamborghini managed to incorporate technology from their successful marine racing engine programme into what is another unique and quite possibly the most extreme factory Lambo, with serious revisions for even further power and weight reduction from the SE30 Jota, c'mon PD the car was not legal in US or Europe and all 3 P-Series made are registered in Japan, Lambo Lover Land! Many, many upgrades include massive tyre width increase (P-Series), quick filler fuel tank, fixed headlights (P-Series), complete revision of engine intake system with new intake manifold, pressure plate, fuel injection from Lamborghini's marine racing engines (possibly required due to increased thirst?), big new spoiler, another new set of OZ wheels, different plexiglass windows with redesigned opening, extra front air intake routing out through new ports in the hood (the GT would later use a similar system, in both cases for the front-mounted oil cooler), exhaust rerouting on same plane as engine (to reduce exhaust length?) and carbonfibre doors (P-Series) where other Diablos had aluminium doors (and steel roofs, both for safety reasons) etc Those exalted enough to have experienced a ride in the "normal" Jota already speak of how hungrily the roof scoops gulped air, such that you could hear it...and that's just the new intake system alone! Who can imagine what the whole car would've been like...and to try and begin to imagine what the Jota R would've been like...??!! Allow us to find out PD!!!!
