The Lamborghini Gallardo LP600+ GT3 was Lamborghini's effort at a GT3 racing car in 2011. It was built by Reiter Engineering, Lamborghini's motorsports division, and is based on the Gallardo LP560-4. The GT3 car ditches the road cars AWD system as well as having many improvements over the 2010 LP560 GT3 including a Hollinger racing gearbox, AP Racing brakes, revised aerodynamics and a new suspension setup. Reiter Engineering have also tuned the 5.2 V10 to increase power to 592HP.
Marc A. Hayek & Peter Kox piloted the #24 Reiter Engineering Gallardo in the Blancpain Endurance Series and ADAC GT Masters in 2011, with Marc being crowned ADAC GT Masters Amateur Champion that year.
