The standard Gallardo as found in the Arcade race mode sounds awsome to me.
(Smooth). I have bought one in GT mode and tuned it up extensively, but the engine sounds b****y awful now. (Rough).
So I deselect every tune to take it back to standard set up but still it sounds horrid,
The only upgrade I can't undo was stage 1 of weight reduction. But that shouldn't effect engine sounds huh?
In GT Auto shop it won't let me recondition the engine says it's still in good condition?
I just hate the sound it makes when I hit the gas now:banghead::mad:
So I go back to arcade mode and the Gallardo sounds great.
Am at a loss to figure out what's going on:dunce::grumpy:
Also a bit worried now about tuning future (Exspensive) cars if it changes engine sounds without being able to revert back if undesired

There's a glitch with GT at the moment, what you need to do is install the normal exhaust again and then quit back to the main menu (or install it before you load the race) the sound should then go back to normal and awesome again. Funnily enough I found this out on the Gallardo first.

Wait, explain this to me again - say I have all engine/exhaust, etc upgrades installed - what do I do? I switch the stock exhaust back, exit to menu, then put the titanium exhaust back?

No no, if you want to maintain the stock sound you need to switch to stock and then load up the track/event (with stock installed). Once the game has loaded technically you can swap back to the race pipe and keep the stock noise (not sure if it works online), but as soon as you load another track if you have the race pipe still on it will load with the normal race exhaust noise and you're back at square one.

Ultimately just put the stock exhaust on in the garage and leave it on unless you really need/want the extra power, I generally prefer noise over power.
