StarLight Garage presents the Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo 2015.
The car is unveiled on 15 August 2014.

Teaser provided by CostasDrifter!

The car will debut in all three continents (Europe, Asia and North America) of the brand’s one-make 2015 Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo series.

The redesigned Huracán Super Trofeo was developed in collaboration with Dallara Engineering, with direct involvement by founder Giampaolo Dallara.

Dallara’s history with Lamborghini dates back to 1963 when he worked as a Lamborghini engineer and later led the development of the legendary Miura.

The Huracán Super Trofeo adopts the direct-injected V10 engine from the road car, delivering 620 horsepower in race trim, and a rear-drive set-up meant to accelerate the series racers’ transition into GT racing.

The vehicle weighs anultra-light 2,800 lbs, attributed to the hybrid carbon fiber/aluminum chassis and strict motorsports weight reduction. The weight/power ratio is 4.5 lbs/hp and a with a weight distribution of 42/58%.

The aerodynamics provide better efficiency, traction and downforce using a ten-position rear wing, front and rear diffusers as well as adjustable front air intakes.

The Huracán Super Trofeo will be exclusively-equipped with Pirelli tires engineered specifically for this application.

With the new Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo the historic partnership between the brand founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini back in 1963 and Gian Paolo Dallara, now becomes even closer. The same Dallara was among the first engineers who worked on Lamborghini cars and had a key role in the development of the legendary Miura.

:D  I have a feeling its going to be a blast of a car... 👍

Looks sick. Except the listed specs contradict the name of the car: The specs list AWD, but it's an "LP620-2", which given recent Lamborghini nomenclature, should mean it's RWD.

You are absolutely right, it's indeed a RWD instead of 4WD .... 4 and R can easily mixed up.
👍

I thought I liked "normal" Huracn...but this is even better. I always say "me not like race cars" but I'm making an exception. Again. :)
