Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT FIA GT DAMS #26 2004

The Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT is a GT racing car built by Reiter Engineering (who build all of Lamborghini's racing cars) and Audi Sport for the LeMans Series, FIA GT and ALMS. DAMS raced the Murcielago during the 2004 FIA GT in the GT class, among big name rivals such as BMS Scuderia Italia (Ferrari 550 Maranello) Zakspeed Racing (Chrysler Viper GTS-R) and Konrad Motorsports (Saleen S7-R). Unlike the AWD Murcielago, the R-GT was RWD and only 9 were produced, to comply with the FIA specifications. The car uses the standard 6.0 V12 but the air restrictors are removed to manage the power. It does 0-60 in 3.1 seconds.

If someone posted a box of Pop Tarts with the word Lamborghini scribbled on it I would vote for it. I think this car looks wonderful in black and orange, a nice mix of beauty and danger.

Sure is an awesome car, dominated the GT class of the FIA GT in 2004 against Ferrari & Saleen.
