Lamborghini Touring Flying Star II 1966

Yeah I'm back to suggesting vehicles after a long long time...

This is a one-off Lamborghini made by Carrozzeria Touring of Milan. Built on a shortened 400 GT chassis, the 'Flying Star II' boasted angular lines and an unusual 'shooting brake' extended rear end.

The heart of the car was a four-litre V12 engine, breathing through six vertical Weber carburettors. This all aluminium engine produced around 320 bhp, which was transferred to the rear wheels through a five-speed gearbox.

This car weighs 1080 kilos.

I absolutely love shooting brakes (well, some of them). Just a little correction - it's 400 GT, not 4000.

Hm, that's strange. But I'm really don't think that "4000" make sense. Since Flying Star was based on the chassis of the
Lamborghini 400 GT, that "400" in the title would actually mean something.
