I just wanted a chance to run a Lancer. It's a car that I like but have never really driven all that much. I would really be interested in seeing some set up's for this car as well. So if you decide that you would like to run this race, please post up some settings.

Race idea originaly posted by Prancing Horse! ;)

Enter the Midfield II race (6 laps) in the Evolution Meeting, Amateur League.

Buy yourself a fresh Lancer Evo V GSR (J), give it an:
oil change,
full racing muffler,
sports suspension
T8 tyres

You may adjust whatever settings that the sports suspension allows and the rear downforce, but TCS and ASM must be set to zero.

Leader board

1. Talentless: 7'58.186
2. Mr. Holland: 8'00.536
3. Prancing Horse: 8'05.407
4. Lotus: 8'08.326
5. Race Idiot: 8'12.062
6. boombexus: 8'12.478

enjoy it guys

Nice going Rob :D ...really enjoy this race so I will have a fresh attempt at this one after the race 5 deadline for torc. Hope everyone enjoys running this as much as I do.
Cheers ;)

Just checked out an earlier attempt at this race that I did about a month ago...it was a clean 8:09.6xx. Will post up the replay for it later. Something for you to aim at anyways, unless someone has already gone faster! ;)

I just had one shot at it for now ...... 8'17.267 fun drive, gonna do some more today .

Add that to the list for tonight...

I do enjoy the lancer...Used an EVO VI GSR to win the PD cup.

What's your best lap time? I got annoyed with the car early, sold it after 12-20 miles; might rebuy it. I got into the mid 79-low 80 sec range.

Here's that replay from a while back....ran a 8:09.745 clean I think. ;)
Will run this again in the next day or so. Cheers :D

Uh, im going to have a bash at this.

Ok see im still here, I just havent had the time to hook up with the GT3.

See! how easy was that? :P
But really....... if you don't have time to hook up with gt3...... I know how it is! I hardy get any time these days myself, by the time the kids are in bed and asleep I've got to clean up after them and then it's too late at night to get any motivation to drive good or well and I'm getting tired, so I don't bother at all . But hey you are on here all day nearly and posting left, right and center and we haven't even heard from you until now when I give you instructions on what to do ( like you don't know how to post, roll and eyes :rolleyes )

..... anyway you're here now and if I've not scared you away you best hurry and post up some of your times and stop being such a bogun :P 😈

Had another 2 attempts last night before bed  and ran a 8:06.4XX....not clean though!...damn new puppy bite my big toe at the apex of the last corner on the last lap  (I kid you not!!) and I stuck it into the barrier

Hey Drew! How are ya mate?

Poor puppy, you meanie :( :P

Did this last night at 1am so its not very good. I am planning to do it again though.

8:17.xxx time although it was very sloppy.
BTW the AI keeps ramming me all the way through the first lap, is this ok?

Yeah, that puts me ahead of the pack and the timer starts whenI cross the finish line. But how will I record the time or even save the replay then?

Guess I never thought about qualifying

Brett .... sorry I went on a bit back there :embarrassed: but hey at least you're here now ! :P I guess I'm just stressed with it being xmas and being so unprepered :nervous: If only santa was real then I wouldn't have to worry and spend tons of cash on toy's and crap that gets broke within a week :(

bah! humbug!

Uh dont worry I thought you meant that you did the race in the qualifying session. :dunce:

Lotus: Dont worry about it though im going to spend some serious time on it today. The lancer is very chuckable though making it fun to drive.

indeed, it's the upchuckiest.

I think my settings are 7/9 and 1.5/2.0

Max df.

Oh, the gears are too tall, at least 4th gear; redlines into the first tunnel.

You do know that if you even dare to reduce it by 1 point your car's front will suddenly have the mass of a freight train, its tires will turn to cement blocks, don't you?
