Seeing as PSN is out for the count at least for another week or so. I thought we should take full advantage of Shift 2 Unleased offline Time Trails.

Here are the Rules:

Pick a track: Any Track

Pick a Car: Any car, list its moddifications. Tuning is allowed.

Post your Laptime: Personal Best. (Be honest) <Thats the only way this will work.

Try to beat each other best lap time using the same car, on the same track with the same modifications listed. You may tune the cars setup to your driving preference.

Post your times: I will organize accordingly.
Create your own challenge: Make it fun.

Not that good, I think... Could've at the very least been a second faster, if it wasn't for the oversteer under braking.

It's all about the tune... A slightly loose rear end will help you to get the car much faster through the different semi-fast corners 👍

(And I thought it was about lap times in general, not comparing lap times for specific cars, my bad )

Yeah specific cars for sure. Driver vs. Driver lap battles. Trying new cars keeps it fun...its neat to see what other gamers choose to drive and how to modify them.

Should be possible to push the car into the the 1:30 range fairly easily, but I can't be bothered to apply more than just a generic AWD tune

Join WTC-3, there is too much mess in this thread. People posting their lap times hope to find a challenge.

Just join WTC competition and try to fight others, currently there is SPA in AMG SLS with no tune allowed. Just stock car and track.

I was hoping someone else would start at WTC-like challenge. I think there is room for two. My preference would be to have one racing B, C, and D-class cars, since it seems the WTC mostly races A-class cars.

I'm in. This gives me an excuse to buy that Subaru! I don't know how competitive I'll be, but I like the competition.

EDIT: OK, my opinion shouldn't count. My first effort in Challenge 1, Subaru, Brands Hatch GP is 1:38:601 But, I'm gonna keep on trying. Could you possibly create a Dunce division?
