Lap Time Benchmark Challenge - Stock Version

Game General Rules *Current*

1) The Cars will be stock. (Easily accuired either new or used, but not won as a prize.)

2) The Track will be a single track picked by the person who chose the car.

3) You have 5 days to aquire, test and record and post your time.

4) The driver with the best time will chose the next car and track unless they won the previous round then it will go to the next best time.

5) All times and posts are subject to the rules of posting for the Lap Time Benchmark thread.

Magic Racer had the best time with SVX the second best. Magic Racer picks the car and track for round four. Please use the following example for the posting when you make it.

P.S. Technically its still open for an hour and forty five minutes, but its close enough, unless you can beat Magic Racers time I think its over.

This is purely stock, no using S3 tires. You can use N1, N2, N3 if you want, but nothing else. See the definitions of stock on the first page of the Lap Time Benchmark thread. Otherwise a good pick, but I wonder how many will play due to the track.

Almost glad the PS2 is packed up, I'd only have the patience to run 2 maybe 3 laps, the ring is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long, specially for stock, and too easy to loose concentration just for a sec, which lands you either off the track or airborne and off the track, which would invalidate the time.

(btw, I ran the lap in my head and smoked your time BH-21)

I have to miss out on a round at the NURBURGRING, I need that conversion cord NOW, I'm almost a Nurburgring DEMI-GOD in stock cars (I have a lot of time on my hands, and no access to GT5, as my brother owns it, anyway, GT4 is more fun in some ways)

PS: I'm still going to post a time on each round. it'll just be late cos I have no TV

This car is SO hard to do a clean lap in. I make it about half way then I go on the grass!

I really enjoyed this combination; the car is well balanced, though a bit understeery, and I could manage a good laptime with it. My best first split time was 0'25.984, but unfortunately, I made a mistake and lost control over the car. Nevertheless, here is my laptime, which can be improved by ~ 0.15 seconds, given that my first split time was not as good as the one mentioned above.

Thanks. I looked into those threads aswell but I really like stock cars so the choice was obvious. Would only be better if we had to use N3 as they are the more "acurate" ones.

N1, N2, N3's are legal for use with stock cars. If you want to drive with them go right ahead. You can post two times if you want in the same posting, with the S2 that it likely comes with and an N3 tire set or just a N3 time.
