F094/S (equivalent to Polyphony 001)

I actually have done a 0'56'512, but that was in the Laguna Enduro, above is the fastest in free run.

So I can attach other replays, I will be making several posts in this thread.

Hee, JB. I've noticed you're pretty good. Could you try Grand Valley with a fully tuned Lotus Esprit Sport 350.

I did a high 1.34'xxx I believe.

but the time you state doesn't sound right. The current FR record for Grand Valley stands somewhere around 1'29'7XX (don't know exactly), but that's with full race cars with adjustable downforce. Considering the record for a RUF R-GT, is around the 1'36 range, and I'm pretty sure the R-GT could beat the Espirit (I could be wrong, never ran that car before), I'm thinking you'd probably better check that again.

I'll give it a whirl though.

I managed a 1'37.927. I can see about a second coming off of that, maybe a wee bit more, but not enough for a 1'34.

The only way I can see a 1'34 in that car, is to ride the wall in the longest tunnel. Can't be done clean.

EDIT...

Couple more laps, I got a 1'36.984. I can see a low 1'36, high 1'35, but that's it man. :fdevil:

Considering this, I think I'll take a whirl at the RR record for Grand Valley in the R-GT. ;)

Another fastest lap in the world has been pulled...

1'00'823 :fdevil: at SSR5 in the R390 GT1 LM Race Car.

Fastest MR time in the world at that track. (Okay, F1's are MR, but they don't count. And besides, I own that too. :P )

:D

Chalk one more up for the record books. :P

The times they keep rollin', and yet another one bites the dust to jbschumacher. ;)

I guess the only question that remains is, what's next  😈

A fully tuned SPORT 350 on GVS can be a real b!tch right?

I checked my PS2 again and the time I put down was: 1.35'209

...but I'd have to admit I cut the grass before the small straight into the 180. Too bad I don't have a sharkport, but I'll see if I can make a picture of the time with a digital camera.

unless belgium uses ntsc, you can't use a sharkport.

so which is it?

I don't know! I don't own one so how am I supposed to know...

It never really occured to me to buy a sharkport or whatever.

i can get 54's @ midfield without trying, never test out f1's much anymore. I use the 787b and with that (still praticsing cuz i need to know the car better) 59 sec.

well troy, seeing as how the 787B accelerates and handles like an F1, and its top speed is higher, that doesnt suprise me, go hop in a F094/S then tell me your lap time at midfield

btw, my FO94/S has more than 1700 miles on it, so the HP is suffering significantly, its down to about 813 i believe, ill check it again later tonight

but do what i said, then gimme a lap time

also, forgot to mention this, 53'142 is my lowest time at the track in that car, but i run consistant 53's in test runs, in the actual F1 race on that track i ripped off an impressive 49second lap because of the intense drafting effect on midfields long straits

Hey man, I've done a 50'008 in free run, if you're running 53's, there's no way you did a 49 with drafting, it's not that much of an effect man.

I hate people who bull s:censored:t.

A few people are in the high 49's for free run, so it is possible, but in order to pull a 49 with drafting, you have to be capable of at least pulling a 50'3XX if the draft helped you get the 49. And that would still be a very high 49.

Come on guys, you can't fool me, or anyone one else who's fast. ;)

Here, you want recognition? Here's how you do it:

#1 - Practice - practice - practice
#2 - After you're good, go get a Shark/X-Port so you can prove yourself
#3 - Go do some fast times
#4 - Post your replays

It's that simple man. :P

The excuse "I never thought to buy an X-Port/SharkPort" doesn't fly anymore. With so many great drivers around, a real driver can't be without one. ;)

Drive clean, don't use hybrids/gamesharks. Is that so hard?

Driving clean - don't wallbang/wallride, keep 2 wheels on/above the track at all times. And above all, no wheelies.

I forgot another one, stick to the rules of any challenge. If the challenge states you use an arcade car, use it. If it says stock horsepower with T8 (Super Soft) tires, use that.

For GT2 there is a program to check things like this, it's only a matter of time for one to come out for GT3.

Until that program comes out, I tend to stay away from challenges that involve arcade cars, because it would be too easy for someone to cheat. Nevertheless, I've run a few, with replays available, and personally can't wait for that program, as it would be 99.9999% impossible to cheat.

excuse me?....a 50xx second lap eh?....what car did you use to accomplish this?...and yes...a 49 with drafting, it is a HUGE effect when properly used, ever hear of double drafting? (i guess not)

try 240 down the front strait bud then over 200 through the first chicane(turns 2 and 3)

i really wanna know how you knocked down a 50 sec lap in free run

I agree entirely. Many of you know me well enough to trust me (it doesnt really matter if you dont because its only a case of exchanging lap times for me), and besides i cant be bothered to go and find/buy a sharkport or whatever. As soon as theis program comes out it'll be cool again. :D

Come on those of you who do cheat - whats the point  . You dont feel like you've won and you dont gain anything from winning anyway - its only a website (albeit a good one). I seem to have dropped off the pace a bit since when I joined here :( - as Im sure people like ZC (sorry, - Zero) and Mr. P have noticed ;) , but im not interested in holding the world record for the fastest lap in a virtual car round a virtual race circuit by spending hours playing on it. I have more fun trying to beat the record at my local kart track  . For those of you who do, thats fine but i think the majority of us are here cause weve completed GT3 and are looking for things to do...

By the way - ****ing quick times there. My best on laguna is a 58.3XX (its on the other thread which i started) and i dont think i can better that much.

However, anyone who wants to take me on in a car (not arcade preferably) and i should give you a better run for your money. 😈

I've been down in the 57.8s on laguna but i didnt save my replay due to lack of space on memory card. I have done a 49 on Midfield once during the F1 championship race but most places dont count times that are done in races since you have more grip on yellow tires than you do in Free Run. My current record at Midfield is 51.325 i have not tried to beat that in a long time but i prolly can beat it if i put the time into it. My other records are good but not on the same level as the Germans, Iforce, hypersport, and jbs.

@mobil1skyline:

My 94s has over 4000 miles on it and it sets most of my lap records, jbs's has over 5000 miles it, the mileage doesnt matter at all, 813hp or 829hp it dont make a difference.

@ Dan:
U wanna go, lets go. 002 vs 688/s at Rome.

when youre dealing with a car that weighs just over half a ton, yeah, 16 horse power makes a pretty large difference

the lighter the car, the more horse power loss effects its performance

Yes, a 50'008 in the F094/S. Replays on my website man. ;) In reference to your 53, I've pulled a 53'476 in an R390 GT1 LM Race Car as well (replay is on my website too).

A 53 in an F1 is  I also have pulled a 50'XXX in an F686/M, can't remember the exact time right now though.

Awhile back, I ran the Formula GT - Midfield race with my tire wear setup for Midfield. Which one of the things I do is lower downforce, 27'24'029 is the time I got. Now, what's that average over a 30 lap race? That's an average of about 54'801 per lap. That's including all pit stops, which in my case I believe was 5. :fdevil:

props man, thats fast

i just wanna know how youre pullin 50's in an F1 at midfield in free run...what kinda settings you use?....what kinda speeds you carry through the turns?

also, im a bad ass driver, but i wanna be better, you wanna gimme some pointers?....any tricks i should know to rip off that kinda lap time?
