What it is: A multimedia laptop
What it costs: 1200USD with 200 of it in rebates
How long have you owned/used it: about a month now

Pros:

  • Big hard drive (160GB)
  • Lots of ram (2GB)
  • Fast processor (dual core ADM turion 1.8)
  • weight. Less than 6 pounds
  • DVD eveything drive, plus lightscribe
  • built in webcam
  • multi card reader built in on the side
  • sweet graphics card (Nvida 6150, 288mb shared)

Cons:
  • Finger prints. Dear god, the finger prints. You touch any part of it, or even look at it wrong, THEY GET EVERYWHERE!!
  • When you try to open the lid, the lower part of it also sometimes comes with it. This is due to the fact that it weights 6LBS and theres nothing there to hold it down

Overall Rating: 9.5/10

Conclusion: Since my other one was outdated and then broke, it was time for a new one. I looked all over for something, then I found this, and I was set on it. It runs vista business really smooth, along with areo. Office 07 is pretty sweet too. Very MAC-ish....

What's the indicated battery life on the box and what's the actual battery life during actual use? Usually very important when considering something portable such as a laptop.

Thats the one thing I forgot to mention:dunce:

Im not sure what they advertise it at, but I can use it for about 4-5 hours just surfing the net. Say im playing half life , maybe a good 3 hours
