Last few laps of Indy and Bob wants to pit every lap?

Just running the Indy 500 and 5 laps from the end, my Bob clattered into one of the AI cars and spun into the pits, he drove through without stopping but since then, he's wanted to pit every lap. Thankfully its only 4 laps and I've obviously got a huge lead but theres plenty of fuel in the car, new tyres, and all 4 of my drivers have got enough strength, plus pit-in strength is turned off anyway.

Why is he all of a sudden wanting to come in every lap?

Did you gave him rain tires? :)

Nope, been on racing hard for the whole race. The only thing I did different was that I only put 25 litres of fuel in to get to the end of the race.

Make sure your pit strategy is set to off, not at some strength %. Bob will only pit if they need fuel or tires then.

I always have it set to off.

He's never done it before but it just seemed strange how, despite having new tyres & sufficient fuel, he wanted to pit every lap following the one where he got shunted into the pits.

When that happened to me, it was the pit strategy "strength" that was set to some value and the driver was exhausted. Might not have had a second driver to swap?
