Romknight had a method. But, I don't remember what thread it was in. He'll know when he shows up. I thought PSN was going to be up sooner than this, so I didn't bother trying it.

Unfortunately it doesn't work here either. Got my cars, but the events are gone. I hope I can get them back when the PSN is back up because I really miss the Old-vs-New and Manufacturer Showdown events

Sorry guys. That worked with patch 1.01.. not tested with 1.02. And for those who bought the game after PSN is down there's no other option but wait...

The bit in your description I did not fully understand was: how can you uninstall the game without deleting the Game Data?
