Le Mans 60's Endurance race

Hi all.

I want to organise a Le Mans endurance race on a Sunday. Instead of doing it with the expected LMP/Class C cars, I was thinking of something a bit different; A 60's race

Ford Mark IV Race Car vs. Jaguar XJ13 Race Car vs. Ferrari 330 P4 Race Car.

Date - Sunday 01 July 2012
Start time - 2pm AEST (+10 GMT)
Grid - Maximum of 14 drivers

Race Details:
Time/Weather change
Laps - 20
Minimum pit stops - 3
Tuning Restrictions - No turbo
Performance Restriction - 555PP (achieve using any means you wish)
Tyres - Racing Hard/Intermediate/Wet
In-game start time - 15:30 (3:30pm)
Time progression - 17 (hoping to get a 24 hour cycle in a 1'ish hour race)
Weather - 0 start, changeability 2

Driving Options:
Fuel/Tyre Depletion - On
Grip Reduction - Real
Mechanical Damage - Light
Driving Line - Off
Traction Control - User choice
SRF - Off
Active Steering - Off
Active Stability - Off
ABS - User choice

Prize - Level 23 ticket

It would be great to have as many people as possible to make this an enjoyable race I have also posted this in my local league forum in hopes of having a near full grid

why not do the cars unmodified?
As I think it will gain more interest

Can't race though as the timing is all wrong

I'd say if you want it classic, keep it classic and unmodified Nice idea though.. I'd just have to get up at around s**t in the orning so I can't But all of best luck 👍

I'm interested if it's unmodified. Unsure which car I'll use at this point.

You can't really mod these cars anyway.. The only modification available is the turbo and everything else comes standard apart from tuning it. Only reason I am placing a PP limit is to keep it competitive

These all can be heavily modified. My XJ13 can reach 644pp but looses personality.

Let me know if you go unmodified and I'll run.

I'll join if it's at least close to unmodified. If you can find a middle ground between the 3. Especially because I always hate that when people restrict tuning, some people will still have more power than others just because they broke their cars in. I find that to be unfair and just stupid if the whole point is to keep competition even.

I also wouldn't mind if they were all totally stock and if you did it as a multiclass race.

I think I'll be in eitherway. I 've always wanted to race these cars, and I'm glad that you're using racing hard tires, racing soft tires are for sissy's

And I think it would be cool to use Heavy damage. It makes everyone behave and drive cleanly, and I like that alot
