This event is for clean and friendly drivers only, no bumping or pushing pass etc.

If you enjoy a lot of tactical racing with long intensive battle lap after lap without the worry of getting bump off the track every other corner, you have come to the right place.

Details of the event as following:

1) Time & Place:

m1racing Lobby open at 7:30pm UK time (GMT+1) for warm up, start on 7:45pm for 12min qualify, should finish at around 10:30pm, please try to be early.

If you are not a friend already, you need to send a FR to m1racing.

2)Cars:

LMP only, use and change any car any time as you like

Group 1 - 700bhp 990kg

Audi R8 Race Car '01
Audi R8 Race Car (PlayStation Team ORECA) '05
Bentley Speed 8
Toyota GT One

Group 2 - 700bhp 930kg

All other LMP cars

In race 2 there is a 90kg handicap for the winner of race 1, and some car may be under weight (to make 930+90=1020kg) and you must change car for race 2, please check weight of your car before testing.

You can pick any car you like and you do not have to use the same car for race 1 and 2.

3) Tracks:

Race 1 – Le Mans 2009 6 laps
Race 2 - Le Mans 2009 21 laps day-night-day, reverse grid

4) Lobby setup

-ABS allowed, all other aids are off
-Damage: weak
-Penalties: off
-Boost: off
-Grip reduction on track edge: Real
-Tire wear/fuel consumption: normal
-Slipstreaming: weak
-Mic off
-Tyres: not restricted
-Grid start with false start check
-For race 2 reverse grid base on previous result

5) Points

1 pt for pole
1 pt for fastest lap on each race

Race 1

1st = 12pts
2nd = 11pts
3rd = 10pts
..........
12th = 1pt

Race 2

1st = 15pts
2nd = 14pts
3rd = 13pts
.........
12th = 4pts

6) Handicap system for race 2

90kg for 1st from race 1
60kg for 2nd
30kg for 3rd

7) Penalties:

7.1 If you are responsible for a incident there will be 1 penalty point for the first time on one night of racing, and 2 penalty points for the second time, 3 points for the third time etc…..

7.2 If you are responsible for an incident, you must stop at a safe place immediately allow the innocent driver to pass freely to re-establish ahead of your position, failing to stop will net you 2 penalty points. If the innocent driver loses 3 places after the incident, there will be 3 penalty points, 4 places = 4 point etc etc…..

7.3 If you've overtaken someone using "questionable tactics", such as push pass or corner cutting, you must give back that place, failing to do so will result in 1 to 2 penalty points for the first time, 2 to 3 points for the second time etc etc…

7.4 When defending on the straight, the leading car has the right to choose his own line down a straight. He can change his racing line once while driving down a straight (move from the outside line to the inside, or vice versa). Each additional change of racing line will net 1 penalty point. As the leading car approaches the next corner, he can return to the racing line of their choice. However, he is not allowed to move into the path of an overlapping car or of the car behind and causes an accident.

7.5 After handicap check, you must stay on track and not to go back to the lobby, it will cost 2 penalty points.

7.6 You must not disconnect from the lobby/race for oil change or any other reason (except for connection problems), it will cost 2 penalty points and you must start from the back on the next race (allow every car to pass you before turn 1) if not that will be another 3 penalty points.

7.7 You must not drive through to pass a transparent car you are battling with, that will cost your team 2 points.

7.8 If you DNF/DNS the last race for any reason, or you came in late, you must start from the back on the next race (allow every car to pass you before turn 1) if not that will be 3 penalty points.

7.9 Cars on the race track have right-of-way over cars entering the race track from the pits. You have to take care not to interfere with other drivers on the track. Swerving in front of upcoming cars to defend your position is not allowed. When there are other cars around or other car(s) coming down the straight, you must not cross the white line and stay on the same side of the track as the pit exit until the next corner, or there will be 2 penalty points.

7.10 There is no going into car setup on restarts or at Q, it will cost 3 penalty points.

7.11 2 WHEELS ON TRACK AT ALL TIMES, track as the black part inside the white line (Kerbs are not part of track). If you gain a place or defended a place by cutting the track, you must give up that place and allow the car behind to pass you, or there will be 3 penalty points.

Any complains, you must inform me by PM with details within 48hrs of the race, and you must saved a replay of that race.

I'd like to join, PSN: jakegirard. I might be able to get a couple other good LMP drivers also.

Welcome harvick, we only have reserve spot for another good/clean driver.

Most drivers in this event are clean drivers that I race many times before or friends of friends, so this should be a clean race:tup:

Everybody please note for group 2 cars:

In race 2 there is a 90kg handicap for the winner of race 1, and some car may be too light (to make 930+90=1020kg) and you must change car for race 2, please check weight of your car before testing.

We will be testing tonight from 9pm UK time, all welcome.

I'm deeply sorry but I have to renounce this, something came up with my family sunday evening and I cannot take part. Give my place to the first in line 👍

Can I participate? The car selection choices weren't very specific. Am I allowed to use a group C car at all?

Thanks for letting us know. Can you race Sunday nights as from Sep, I am starting a new GT500 championship, it will run at a similar format as this LMP event.

Welcome to Le Mans 2013, I am sure there will be 1 or 2 no shows, there will be a spot for you tomorrow. Group C cars should be allowed, which car (cars) are you thinking?

I was looking at the 905 or C9. Thanks for leaving me a spot :cheers:

They are ok in group 2 700bhp 930kg. However in race 2 there is a 90kg handicap for the winner of race 1, and these cars may be under weight (to make 930+90=1020kg) and you may need to change car for race 2, please check weight of your car before testing.

The 905 has that issue. Only 750kg to start. Also, is race 1 no tire wear?

Hi - just found out a few minutes ago that I've got a family commitment to attend tomorrow.

It's supposed to finish at 7:30pm, but might run on a bit. Probably safest for me to give my spot to someone else if they want it.

I'll try and join as soon as I'm on, if there's no room, no worries.

Gutted :(

Thank you for letting us know. I have put you on reserve, you can still come in if you are late.

Q start on 7:45pm (may be a little delay), race 1 start around 8pm, you can join the race even on last minute. Make sure your cars is setup to the reg (correct weight) and we will check it after the race, just make sure you do not go into setup after the race.

Race 2 will start around 8:40 to 8:50pm, if you missed race 1, you can still join race 2, just need to start from the back of the grid.

Remember to send me FR, as I am not sure which PSN ID you will be using.

Wow, it was a lot of hard racing last night, 32 laps all together inc Q and the little warm-up race. Well done everyone, lets do the same again in 2014 lol.

PM me if you have any complains by tomorrow, I can see 2 penalties so far, one is for m1's bad driving :ouch:

Final results will be out on Wen.
