ive been tuning my le mans quattro for a while and was wondering if anyone had a better tune than me ive got my le mans running 9.102 1/4 miles im trying to get it below 9.100

try a trans setup for 1st gear quick shift into 2nd , it helped me.

I'm going back to the drawing board with mine, I switched to a second gear launch but I think I need to go back to first gear. Current best time is 8.938 off second gear.

yea i get a lot of crap for it but i use an automatic trans and launch out of first i just retuned my car and got a 9.092 finally beat my goal of going under a 9.1

ive got my trans going as fast as possible for a 1st to second gear launch already idk im gonna try playing around with the top speed and top geaar a little

That's the way I started, auto with 1st gear...I had it doing 8.964 that way, then I went manual and with the same tune got 8.944 with first gear, but I think my trans is just fundamentally a little bit wrong, so I plan on redoing it.

try changing split to 45 front 55 rear for some reason it runs faster, my Le Mans runs in auto low 8.9's

Try this for your trans.... (start a new tune sheet if you want to save your other tune)
Reset to default
Top speed to 149mph
1st gear-all the way to the left
2nd-roughtly 25-30ish clicks to the right
4th,5th, and 6th all the way to the right.
3rd- Look at the graph... move your 3rd to the right until you could draw a line under your 3rd 4th and 5th and the bottom of lines would just touch. (see picture)

Then move your final gear to the left till your top speed in the corner of your graph is 178mph.

ALWAYS RUN MANUAL for really any car but the gtr. The Le Mans makes peak power at 6800rpm... if you run an auto... it shifts at 7k... so your running outside your powerband. Shift points are huge with this car... it takes some getting use to but you can shave a fair amount of time off by shifting right. Hope this helps ya... Cheers

If you have route x, just tune with that. Make a tuning adjustment, then run it again. A solid 30 min of this and you got yourself a good tune.

i have to thank you tried that tune for top speed of 180 it was redlining by the time i got to 1/4 mile for top speed of 149 but anyways ran it with a auto trans and it ran a 9.084 then ran it with a manual and after a few tries i ran my first 8.997! thank you so much

thank you everyone for helping me especially hayabusa1340rr i just accomplished my goal of running my le mans quattro under a 9.000 1/4 mile after retuning the transmission and lsd and running the car in a manual trans i ran a 8.997

so i used your info and the only thing is i had to change the top speed to 180 it redlined in the sixth before i got to a quarter mile but running at top speed 180 and using an auto trans i went from a 9.092 to 9.084 and then i ran it in manual trans and ran a 9.012 i have to thank you very much for the info it definitively helped me get closer to my goal of running under a 9.000

AznTuner, your already giving tips. Yeah you need to spend a good solid amount of time tuning it. remember keep a note of the tune before you make small tweaks, especially the gearbox cause it is difficult to remember the numbers

My LMQ runs a 9.031 with a Black Edition tune on it but i just got a better tune 4 my Black Edition and im gunna try iot out should run better:idea:

I appreciate you using my pic to show him what to do, but that was the Ford GT's 2nd gear launch pic. The Le Mans pic has shorter 1st and 2nd for a shortshift. Atleast you're helping though. 👍

Thanks for the tranny info. I was running a best of 9.087 in 1/4 before, now with your set up @ 178mph my best is 8.960. That mph has worked the best for me so far. Thanks again.

Play with 1st n 2nd gears alot start with 1st fully left (on bar) then set 2 slightly close then set final. go from there.
