Le Mans Quattro throttle glitch

I was messing around with the Le Mans Quattro today and started to get annoyed because, in some turns it accelerates without any throttle applied(pushed me off at the end of some turns). I was curious why, so I took it out onto the test track and started it moving. At 50 kph, I completely took my hand off the throttle(the throttle readout showed no throttle), and started a slalom. After about a 1.5 km I was going over 200 kph, without ever having touched the throttle. Anyone know what would cause this? The car is completely stock.

Did you have ASM on? Under certain circumstances ASM applies throttle by itself to prevent the car from skidding and the result can resemble what you're observed if the throttle stabilizing is needed for extended periods, such as just in a slalom.

Yeah I agree. I find that if you have ASM on, and you turn into a corner, it actually makes you crash instead of stopping you! I turn the whole lot off, it's a damn sight more fun :D

No, it's like that in real life. It has a lot more fun if you're not driving. In fact, the car prefers you not to be there (presumably it thinks it is more stylish than you, and because it's German it's fairly adamant about it...)

;) JK (about the German reference...)

I have had that exact same problem. I thought it was my controller because I sometimes get mad at a game and chunk it at the (carpet)floor!!!!
