Lets compare RM Z06 and Zr1 laptimes....

I have been tweaking my RM Z06 for a few days now and want to know if I'm on the right track with it. What lap times have you all been pulling on the Top Gear test track and Grand Valley East? So far I have the car down to the 1:05s on the Top Gear track and :56s on Grand Valley East.

Heh.

My setup which you bashed does mid-56s consistently at GVS East with exactly the specs listed, including the racing medium tires.
So we run the same thing on a tire that I wasn't stressing.... 👍 There is still plenty to go with my setup. Considering I have only ran this setup for a handful of laps. With a few more tweaks it has sub 55s in it.
I would like to know how you manage to enter turn one. Can you throw a video of it up? What are you driving with?

Driving Force Pro with a lot of slop in it from many years of use for controls, and entering turn one I simply run a bit of a wide line through the "kink" and nail the brakes. Absolutely zero drama. Cars tend to get a bit loose if you try to hug the inside of the kink there.

And sadly, can't do a video, no equipment whatsoever to do so.

I cant talk about those tracks, but I run the indy track all the time. the zr1 rm will run 5 laps 15 seconds quicker than the zo6 rm. both are fully modded, and are setup similar. the zr1 just seems to have a more rigid chassis. running full speed i have to just let out of the throttle in the zr1 on turns 1 and 2 and keep it pegged in 3 and 4. i have to hit the brakes on the zo6
