Now there is so much damn gt4 info out on the net that it's mind blowing to read it all and there are so many threads with info in them and it's just hard to keep up with out getting a sweat. I know I was getting pressured trying to get all the info I could :crazy: :crazy:
Now lets recap on the gt4 goodness we have gotten.

First, PD has said gt4 is complete so the game will hit this year for us 👍 👍

Gt4 now has 700 cars!!!!! Ofcourse that's just a guess like 500 and 650 were. In the past, I said gt4 would have 700-800 cars and I was close!

Gt4 will now feature the 05 version of Fuji speed way!!!!! This track wont be open till april 05 and we, we the gt4 fans get the rip it apart in a matter of weeks!

Check out the new cars in the game and the tracks. Also, please look at the vids and check out the tracks from old gt's. Even though the quality of the vids are meh, you can still see the improvement pd has done. also, check out the car sounds in the sound section. PD has really improved greatly on the car sounds, just listen to the Z4's start up, it's amazing.

God that Nike car is so crapy looking. I hope PD charged them an arm and 2 legs to put that ugly piece of crap in GT4. Hope it drives like a giant boulder and not like the f1's in GT3.

In this picture, is it just me or does the reflection look really distorted? You can't see the guy through the rear window and the person in the forground, his cloth looks anything but what it is supposed to be. By the way, I love mock-up images.

It's not the text, it's the images. These pics have been up and down all day (mostly down). Perhaps, since so many of us are having a devil of a time seeing them, that ya'll could simply upload them here, rather than linking to such an unreliable site?

As Jedi said, It's not the text, it's the images. As I said, the images don't load.

BTW I have the japanese font installed.
 
usernamed, I do believe you use Safari. The only thing I would suggest is to make sure you've got Macromedia Flash Player 7 and got the page on Shift_JIS encoding (if that makes a difference). If you really are that desperate try another browser for Mac like Firefox! Lastly if you are on 56k wait for everything to patiently load, usually you'll have to refresh the site and then come back to the section to get everything to finish loading. Basically what everybody else has already said.

cobragt, you forgot to add that the Epson printers compatible with Photomode have been put back up here and if you click the Support link on the GT4 site it has the list there too. So just to clarify, they have a final list ready of the compatible printers.
 
Flash has nothing to do with it. The page loads up just fine, everything displays, except for little red "X"s whereever there's supposed to be an image (the Firefox equivelant of a red-X, at any rate). Quite simply, Firefox (and apparently a few other browsers) is unable to load the images. It's exactly the same thing we get when the image file simply isn't there to load. A 404, in other words. Or, an unreliable server that doesn't seem to be able to handle the load of everyone trying to view the images at the same time. Hence, a simple request for people to give us an alternate place to view them, rather than us spending an hour reconfiguring our own systems (when in fact, there's nothing to configure).

Perhaps I should also clarify that the problems are NOT on the official site, they're on this "ipmedia.co.jp" site. That's the one that's not working for us, and that one's just plain ol' HTML.. it's the official site that uses Flash, and that one works fine for me.
 
I think someone mentioned this earlier, but this isn't correct. The licence bit that says "350Z" is not reflected properly. I hope that little things like this aren't missed in the game. On a side note I really hope that the conversions from metric to imperial are completed properly.

I hate to say it Zarkoff, but if possible, that diagram has made it worse, because the car is at an angle when the marking you've added (I assume it was who) aren't so it's a bit harder to see.

But either way, the reflection of a licence plate in a singel screen of the game is a tad insignificant, no?

A major mistake on my behalf. I missed the point that it was the ipmedia.co.jp site, not the official one. I take it that we are unable to hotlink images directly from the site, so here is a test:

Hopefully the image wont appear from my cache. Maybe there is an htacess utility set up that instead of essentially blocking hotlinking from other sites it is stopping some from their own site, or I missed the point completely and the site is dealing with too many requests and can't cope.

Or I'm stupid.

Don't worry those images are mockups just to provide an idea what the interface will look like. They are full of mistakes.
 
Unfortunately, I can't see ANY of those new pics. All are broken images... 👎

I have adjusted the pic so that you can see this detail better. And you are correct, a small detail like this is insignificant as long as there aren't a lot of small detail like this that are missed.
 
"Gran Turismo for Boys?" No offense, but what about "GT for Girls?" After all, girls are car people as well. I guess maybe boys are more likely to be into cars. Should probably be called "Gran Turismo...", uh, "...Gran Turismo" Damn it! No real name to come up with. Then again, I don't know what it would be like if it were a girl's GT. Worst case scenario would be (prepare to get OWN3D, John...) "Hello Kitty Teaches Gran Turismo" or "Gran Turismo with Pikachu." Maybe the game will be cel-shaded. You know, for the cartoonish look. That "Saturday Morning cartoons" look. I want to form a discussion on this "Gran Turismo for Boys" deal in a future topic, but I'll end it there.

As far as the other news goes, now are you happy about damage? Like we waited for GT4, you can wait for GT5. But of course, damage won't be the most important part of the next GT after this one. And as far as online play for kids:

I don't think we'll see children playing each other from different sides of the world in competitive multiplay. So grow up, IGN. If I have anything else, I'll be back.
