Letting Bob drive on his own?

I have read many posts where people talk about letting Bob drive races on his own while you watch TV or do something else. This may be a stupid question, but how do you just let him drive a race on his own without giving commands? Do you just put him in an overpowered car and check on him after 10 minutes or so? I feel like I have to give him commands pretty often. I'd love to be able to let the race play out on its own while I can do something else (my wife would probably be even happier).

I suppose the remote racing will greatly change this, so I am pretty excited for that. I'd appreciate any advice.

What level is your bob? My level 39 Bob is running the Le Mans 24 Hour and I haven't checked on him since the race started 22 hours ago. He's in an FGT so yes, it's overpowered.

I wonder if you get more XP overall if you use two Bob's? But to confirm and stay on topic, I too use a fast car (F1 or X1). But if you want a good 4hr race then use the zonda. I am using it now, pitting every 3 laps (tyres) and still half a lap ahead. A bit more fun I think.

Anyone know about gaining more XP overall using two or more cars? I read lot's of stuff but still not sure. I know the XP is shared but will one car gain all the XP or does using more drivers give more overall XP to each driver as opposed to just one driver gaining all.

Thanks for any info

Cheers

I've just gotten started so my Bob is only at Level 8. I also have another Bob at Level 1, but I think I'm going to focus on only one of them.

Yeah, just put him in a fully tuned car which has no problems killing the opposition. Let him race you into the money while you watch TV.

If you are doing a race that you know is going to be close or could go either way, give him a few commands at the beginning, so he gets to first position, Bobby does a lot better when there is noone in front of him, blocking and being generally annoying. Of course, in races like that, there is still a chance of him being overtaken if you're not paying attention.

Bottom line - don't be stingy on the car, Bob will make you a lot more money than what you spend on his ride.

Lets say the XP for a race is 1,000 XP. If only one driver runs the race he gets 1,000 XP. If two run and one runs 61 laps and the other runs 39 laps then one will get 610 XP and the other will get 390 XP. It's divided by the laps or time they run.

I have a level 21 Bob who I let drive anything alone, he's a fantastic driver. My 2 other Bob's (12 and 19) need assistance though. One is a total hothead.

My one bob is at level 17 and even when he is angry he doesn't make a mistake. I'll watch him for one lap or until he get's in first then i'll watch tv

Depends on the race, for one where you wont need to bother pitting him just stick one bob in somthing fairly decent and let him drive off.
Easiest way to level up other bobs is in the short enduros, use 2-3 that are of a decent level and the new one, stick them in the fgt and just let them ride around on 10% pit.
The 2-3 good ones will do most of the work and you should win pretty easily.
If you plan on using more than 1 bob for the longer enduros make sure they're pretty high level otherwise you could end up with them in the pits after every lap.
