Lexus IS F non RM

I'm a bit stuck with it, I remember someone has it in the 9's so I've tried two different tranny and suspension setup and they both come within .040 of each other, can anyone shed any light on this.

I've got a best of 10.001. My suspension is different. and my tranny is 177 TR corner. final is 2.000 . 2nd gear launch with quick shift into 3rd. That is with a wing on it also. Bumping the redline on each shift

Hmm, I'll strech out my final and rearrange the gears and see what happens.

With my tune I launch in first then quick shift into second and taking it home from there on. Is yours broken in?

Yeah, 735HP. I was able to break 9's. 9.998.

YEAH, I'm gonna play with the suspension a bit. Did anyone of you tried playing or adding ballast? I don't think it's needed to the weight but u never know.

I've got ballast at +50 but no weight added. Not sure if it helps or not.

Take the ballast off. With a 8speed tranny set the top speed to about 175 - 180. Launch it at first quick shirt to 2nd pause for about a second or 2 then shift it to 3rd while its pealing out. After that you need to find its shift points. Im sure with this method it will break into the 9.9s

Just tryed this car out, been tuning it for the past hour or so, its a fun car though 8 gears seems kinda pointless it only needs 6 in my opinion as im not even using 1st and 2nd gear I launch in 3rd.

Top speed at the top right of the graph is 154mph, Flip the tranny using a starting final between 2.500 and 2.600, max speed fully left then bring the final gear down to 2.000
Set 3rd gear between 4.600 - 4.700 then space the rest accordingly, I think that alone should be enough to help you break into the 9.9's c-losk if you havn't already.

Heres my times so far, I've only got 100 miles put in mine so far so im only at 724bhp, once I get it to the full 735bhp I'll post up some new times.

Full throttle launch (holding throttle while screen is black before track loads)

Ideal RPM launch (timed launch)

Quite a fun and fairly fast car, I'd imagine its a good rival for the Supra as it's way faster in the 0-60 but the Supra will start to catch up from 60 - the full 1/4.

This car might be possible of a 9.89x with a timed launch once I full broke it in.

Thanks for the input Maccer, I'll give that a try in the morning... I was trying all kind of gear launches and got better results with first and quick shift to second with my tune... U almost at 9.899 that's awesome, I'm sure once its fully broken in u will be there... And like u said its a good car to bring out and give a few surprises.

Maccer nice tune. I was able to get it down to 9.950. I don't know how you run 9.939 without being broke in! That's fast... I'm still trying to get there. Thanks

Well I fully broke this car in today and retuned my gearbox to match the extra power and heresmy times.

As you can see my prediction of this car hitting a 9.89X was very close and i'm sure I could hit a .89X with just a few tweaks I dont think i've reached the full potential of this car yet.

WOW, amazing I need to tweak my gears a bit more, like I said I'm bouncing off the limiter before I get to the finish line. I got rid of most of it but it's still happening, no biggie I think I got a plan.
