I personally liked earlier GTs with their 10 tests per license instead of just having 5... but what has really surprised me is the DRASTICALLY reduced difficulty level for getting gold in these tests. I have always found that working to get all golds in every license is one of the most difficult and most enjoyable aspects of the GT series... in GT3 it took me a solid 6 months before I could finally lock down the last few golds in the S license, and in GT5 I am a couple years in now and I still have a handful of random tests that I can't quite get the gold for (yet.) So far when it comes to GT6, I have had the game for 7 days now and excluding the S license ( I haven't unlocked it yet) and the two slalom tests (which I absolutely despise) I have easily racked up golds in every test. In fact, I have not had to try any individual test more than half a dozen times before easily getting the gold.
I know I haven't gotten that much better at playing the game, so this must be universal for everyone. Did a lot of people complain back when GT5 was new about the license tests being too hard? I can't think of any other reason for PD to take most of the fun out of these tests, they must have been simply giving the majority of players what they asked for right?
Do most people like the new fewer and easier licenses, or are you like me and think that they have been dumbed down WAY WAY too much?
