I've been making tracks for quite some time now, and for rally I do double or triple the number I've done tarmac with Liege being my most commonly used. I've been here enough before that I think I would have seen this before, but it just started happening two days ago.
The first corner out of the main straight and the last corner onto it seem to glitch out frequently. WIf I go tail-out in either corner and the rear scrapes the outside edge it will suck the car into this invisible wall thing. The car will sit a bit into the berm and sometimes the tire will sit on top where the fence is. Once I get sucked into this glitch I'm stuck, lap over, I can drive forward and back along the berm but cannot shake the car free as it there feels like an invisible wall blocking the car from getting back onto the track. I can turn the car perpendicular to the track in either direction, enough that it appears to be completely dislodged and even a foot or two away from the wall, but no matter how hard I try the car just doesn't shake loose!
This isn't the track, I tried 4 different ones with absolutely nothing in common. Everything from a complex 5 miles course to a 2.8 mile basic sweeper course and all have radically different values on the first and last sector. It's not the car. I've managed to do it with 15 cars such as a '71 Mustang, an '82 Quattro, a '98 Mini Cooper, a '63 Alfa Romeo Giulia SS, I mean I've tried a bunch of different cars with all getting stuck. Is there some new glitch I missed in the Liege designer?
It only happens in offline that I know of, I tried to get it to happen online but no luck. I haven't seen it in any career/arcade practice laps either but I'll admit I have done many. It seems to only be in course maker and keeps ruining half of my good laps! Has anybody seen or heard of such a thing before?
EDIT: Chalk up another one. This one was by accident too! That makes 5 tracks and the Renault 5 Turbo (street car) is on the list of affected cars.
