Using a PS3 controller and pulling my hair out here!

I have an RM'd ZR1. All the bits, 905 BHP etc and I just can't compete with the LMs at the Daytona event. I can catch a little on the banking but they leave me on the bends. Add to that a small mistake and it's Game Over!

Would my Zonda be a better option?

Any tips / tunes / anything ... appreciated.

Zonda R.. game over.

Soften the suspension and tweak the downforce. On take off you'll push into 3rd and by the 3rd corner you'll be able to take the lead.

Did it with the Mazda Furai. Lost on the straights but kicked *ss in the corners.
Take the lead and don't let 'm pass ya ;)

The corvette zr1 rm should do the trick. It's really tricky though because the race cars have better speed and handling. The zr1 rm is known for spinning out if you over gas it. The trick is to be very cautious. It took me over 15 tries with it but I finally pulled through.

Some tuning options that I used after like the 15th try, Suspension camber back wheel 3.5, front wheel 2.9. This will allow you to have good turns without over steering or under steering. (remember give the appropriate gas or any tune option won't work). Lowering the car is also a great option (if you can on the zr1 rm. not sure) to about -3- -5.

Anyways, I hope this helps you.

In A-spec, use a Formula Grand Turismo (FGT) that is tuned to the tunings posted in this forum and you will have no trouble. The FGT will win lots of races for you. It is well worth the 5 million credits you will spend for it.

Works perfectly fine for me (only 2 or 3 attempts to win) with the RM ZR1. Setup hints: use wheel camber! front 2.0 and back 3.0 or even 3.5. This other thing just below (dont know the english word), set on -0.05 for front and 0.25 for back. Brakes 10/10. Aero max, speed to 360max, suspension as you wish, not too soft and both front and back the same. With this setup, you will be able to accelerate quiet early in the corner even with TC of (just skid on) and ABS 1. Hope it works for you too

Try using Min. downforce on front and rear and gear ratios set to 249mph and hang back till the last lap and you should be able to slipstream them easy
