I have a Xanavi 08 and I have my final race in my championship tonight at le mans 05'.

What advise would you give for a set up there, I am looking to save tyres also as its a 15 lap race. In other words, what part of the car can I tune to help save tyres? If someone has a full set up that would be even better :D. Also the car is tuned to 552 bhp

not a tuner myself but would say suspension is the biggest thing, wrong camber/toe and tires will wear a lot faster.

Saving tires is really about front/rear balance. If the one end of the car wears out more quickly, then the car will begin to lose traction on that end of the car and throw off the handling balance. If the rear wears more quickly, the car will begin to oversteer toward the end of the rear tire life.

Getting the car balanced is the best way to manage tire wear. Other areas of tuning really only add maybe one extra lap to tire life. Sliding the tires wears them out quickest. Try to make the car roll through the corners, be smooth and don't slide the car around alot. That will pay bigger gains than setup.

As for balancing front/rear so that the tires wear out at the same rate, I start with LSD, then work on suspension, then as a last resort will run a harder tire on the end of the car that is wearing out fastest.

Here is my guideline for doing quick setups and setting up the LSD. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=167421

The one thing that wears out tires the most is corner exit. If you look closely, you'll notice that everytime you nail the throttle exiting a corner, your rear tires get hotter even if you don't spin the tires. The trick is to be very smooth with the throttle coming out of corners. Doing this alone will save you lots of tire life. ;)
