Limewire

I've been reccomended by a friend to download Limewire for free music and video downloads, it looks like a dodgy website exept from the part where you can buy Limewire Hats, is Limewire legal and does it affect your computer at all.

I believe the program itself is legal (as eMule, Kazaa etc are), but you can do illegal things with it. Using it to download copyrighted music and/or videos free would be illegal. Discussion of such things is against the AUP, so I reckon you should lock this thread

Yup, these threads are usually frowned upon due to their links to illegal activities.

My advice, don't download it. It's full of spyware. PM me if you want more info.
