The Navagator? Thats not new, and its not horrid, i just think the back lights are a bit too big

U Think A Navigator Looks Like A Landcruiser? Check out a Lexus LX470...Lexus just rebadged it and chucked in sat nav and leather!

Chucking in Sat-Nav and leather is no picnic.

It takes years of practice

'Member when Toyota had that grey scandal in England because someone figured out that they were literally importing Soarers and then prying off Toyota badges at the London docks, slapping on Lexus badges, and sending the cars to dealers?

I think the one that they're talking about is the new 2003 Aviator the "Explorer-esque" SUV. It has more hp than the GM Mid-size trio (304??), and more features than its Mercury cousin. Better deal!

The new Navigator is not that impressive, according to the reviews that I accumulated, the engine lacks punching-power to carry its heavy load and they say (performance wise) the Caddy Escalade is better (this months Motor Trend mag.). But anything else is is quite accomodating (power hatch, power fold 3rd row seats, power fold stepboards).

Same here, I'd rather buy the new Range Rover and the LX470.

The real true offroading machines with flair.

:odd: If you got 50g's to burn, why not buy the Ford(if you like Fords) Expedition. Same size as the Nav. and probably 20g's cheaper. Fully loaded with same options probably 5-10g's cheaper, same chassis, same drivetrain. Then take the spare coin you saved and buy a nice fishing boat!! As far as SUV's go the Navigator has a really nice website. SUV's are an extremely large waste of good sheet metal, and fuel. If we all lived in the mountains then I might see the need; but then again we'd end up paving the mountains too!! If you need to tow buy a pick-up, or a fullsize sedan. SUV's are a real danger to cars in the event of an accident, plus their high center of gravity creates a danger to the occupants. Just kidding... I sometimes drive a Tahoe at work(Rapid Response Vehicle) and it handle really nice for a 7000lb. truck.
