Hey guys, Lister here. There are many knowledgeable people here on GTP, and I figure I have something for you. The Lister Storm GTL.

I went through a lot of research, I have numerous books, nothing. There is nothing about this on the internet, I have even spoken to Lawrence Whittaker, managing director of Lister, who has emailed Laurence Pearce about it, and all he knows is that it did indeed exist, but no further info.

A pamphlet from the 90's endorsed by Lister does have this:

This means Lister has taken orders for it at least by 1997-98.

This is by far the rarest, most obscure car Lister has ever made. It's even more obscure than the Lister XJC.
Hope you liked this history lesson, if you have any more information on this Lister please post it here!

I'm by no means one to look to for information on it, but I'm intrigued. It's more pleasing to the eye than other examples but the power reduction in favor of lighter weight may not have appealed to perspective buyers of a car as expensive ($300,000 USD?) as the Storm.

The "regular" Lister Storm was $350,000 so if the pamphlet is correct the GTL would have been $675,000. The whole Porsche thing of "charge more for less". And I see what you mean, the regular Storm was less expensive, more powerful, and luxurious. So maybe a collector or wealthy Lister enthusiast might buy one but from a typical buyer's perspective, it wasn't very good.
