Hi guys, please refer to the guide below...
Unfortunately, I'm having great difficulty matching the transmission numbers provided in the tuning guide. I've bought the Fully Customisable Transmission Kit and I've set the Max Speed to 273, but I can't set any of the gears apart from Gear 6 and Final Gear to the correct numbers. I would really appreciate some help so that I can find out why this isn't working for me. Thank you very much in advance!Replay available @ Matterhorn Dristelen. At the Test Course, in a Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo - it's a familiar memory in Gran Turismo 1. The GTO, long famed as one of the most powerful cars in that game at 930bhp, became a fan favourite in the game.

Since then, only Gran Turismo 3 has been able to beat that figure - the 3000GT there peaking at over 1000bhp. But somehow the essence was never the same, with the more hardcore GT3 physics engine compared to the loose and wild GT1 engine.
GT6, though, has managed to beat GT1's scale, hitting 958bhp with a full tune. And that's before you bring in the question of one 100,000 Cr. Nitro Kit...
With the touch of R1, at 70% power boost, you now get 1628bhp. Not much more needs to be said on that subject. Except that this car will break 300mph with that much behind it - and this is not even a top speed tune.
Indeed, this 3000GT has been tuned in an attempt to at least try and make sure it stays on the road. Some wild settings were required, but it works alright. You can not only power past allcomers without question on the throttle, but you can also maybe keep it on the road as well when you aren't.
It's a true throwback to the glory days of Gran Turismo 1 - all it needs is an RM livery.
