Oh my god. That was the best response I've seen in a while Thorin. Ignore him, internet cowboy.
Thanks @killerjimbag. I possibly provoked it be ruffling some feathers on the Epic Whining and Crying thread the other night. Maybe not, but either way why would I want to ignore him? He's going to show us all the best tune ever.:)
Cheers again:cheers:

Hello and welcome to our garage.
Here we specialize in nothing in particular but tune everything.
View attachment 109787

DISCLAIMER: All tunes found in this Garage(at time of writing) have been created using a DS3 with stick used for steering set at 0 sensitivity, ABS set @ 1 and SRF on (Yes, I hear all the moans already...and I don't care!) and all other aids off. Just remember that not all drivers were created equal, we all have our own styles and skill levels and what works for you may not work for others.
These tunes will not suit everyone and to some may seem completely undriveable but they have all been extensively tested and for the people for whom they have been created they work better than the stock settings.
Most of the tunes unless otherwise stated were created at Grand Valley Speedway and have the Transmission settings for this track shown. Top speeds have been tested at Route X.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated as long as it is constructive, I am aware I have still a lot to learn and any ideas on how to improve any of the tunes in this garage will be welcomed. Even if they don't work for us they may help others.
That is, after all the reason most of us are here.:gtpflag:

I am really just starting out here and am by no means a pro tuner. But I for some reason, have found myself in the position of being one of a couple of goto guys within my little racing community on-line from which advise has been sought and tunes have been requested.
So I have a little collection of tunes that I have been working on and thought, seeing that I have benefited from the great work of other tuners on GTPlanet that I would post my tunes here and hopefully be a little help to the community.

I have no background at all in motorsports (other than being a huge fan) and have a limited knowledge when it comes to all things tuning related. Having said that I do read a lot and have always been very keen to learn anything new.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank a few people from our community who have helped me a lot, either directly or otherwise, in gaining the understanding that I have aquired so far.

Firstly, for the sheer volume of work he has done not only here in GT6 but also in GT5, I would like to thank @Motor City Hami for his extensive work on all things tuning related, a huge amount of time and effort has been put in to help all of us and we salute you!
Here is the link to Motor City Hami's Tuning Guide.

Secondly and I'm sure this will come as no surprise, I would like to thank the "Tuning Legend" that is @praiano63 for the huge amount of great tunes that he has created over the past few years and for also sharing his wisdom, especially with his Transmission set-up guide.
Here is a link Praiano's Transmission Guide.

Also @XS for his help with teaching this old dog new tricks. And of course taking the time to compile all of the tunes available here in GT6 and making an easy to use Tune Directory to benefit everyone as well as giving us little guys a place to be noticed in a :gtplanet: full of tuning giants.👍
XS' GT6 Tune Directory

And last but not least, My tuning partner @Dirty_Duck who is also Co-Founder of our little garage and who does have a motorsports background, who frequently spends a lot of time with myself bouncing ideas around to try and get the best out of every tune we do here under the mountain.

Here are the links to a couple of tunes which I have posted previously outwith this garage.

Our first GT500 car to be released had to be a good one. So I have spent a lot of time getting this HSV ready to take on the rest of the field. At 597pp it is competitive with most if not all other race cars and the settings should allow you to get even more from this car when you install the extra turbo kits. I have ran many races at 648pp with the same suspension settings and a transmission change to cope with the extra power.

Have fun and enjoy your drive!

Thanks @Gcturbo:tup: We are glad we can help:)

I am putting the finishing touches on a few more now, so I hope to have another four or five going up later today. I know also @Dirty_Duck has a few more he has been working on so we should be seeing some more from him soon too.

Thanks for your kind words and support, we are sorry we've not been able to post more, but it's been all work and not a lot of play recently.

An old, old favourite from GT. This was one of the first cars I ever used back in arcade mode all those years ago. But In recent years I have left her collecting dust in the deep recesses of the garage, so I decided to dig her out and give her a new paint job and a new set of shoes. Now she's ready to dance.

Another GT300 car to add to the collection. Just as competitive as the BRZ and RX-7 from 300 BHP all the way up. The car has bags of grip and plenty of grunt to keep you powering round the track. It's probably the best all rounder of the group,

Have fun and enjoy your drive!

One of the best cars to throw around the city courses, the Garaiya only weighs in at 830kg and is as nimble a car as you can find. I love taking this car to Cote d'Azur and just driving till I drop. should be very competitive round any of the short tracks and will even run very well up through the 500pp bracket with some more power parts added and the Final gear shortened.

Have fun and enjoy your drive!

Hi Guys and Gals, We are doing some updating today. Sorry we've not been about with any new tunes recently but we have been working on some since our last update. We've just not had a lot of joint testing time to get things finished up but we plan to publish a good 15-20 tunes over the next day or two.

We look forward to hearing your thoughts on our new tunes and hope that they're helpful and to your liking.
And please don't hesitate to ask if there is something you want us to tune, We're a bit low on funds but anything in a reasonable price bracket(Cr:1-2m Max.) and we'll give it a go.

@JimbobMarley65, I have put the aero package on the Sp1 and set the rear downforce to maximum to balance with the new front value and ran the same settings. The car has even better balance now and has been a lot more competitive. I have had some great results against some of our other top 600pp Road Cars round Fuji and doing good tests round Brands Hatch and Trial Mountain too.

I went on a little spending spree after Update 1.05 and tried out the new search function at the dealership.
I have always been a fan of the MR cars more than most, so I hit up a search for all of the MR cars at the lower pps (Sub 500) and bought up a whole bunch of them. I started with this one more or less straight away and found it to be a little bit of a handful, to say the least.

I then see that it was nominated for the "Difficult Car challenge" for April, quite unsurprisingly. I think it is a very good candidate for this and look forward to seeing how the other tuners deal with this.

I originally wanted to tune this car at maximum power (592pp)on Racing Soft tyres and then if I could manage that ok, I was going to try my hand at translating this into a 550pp Sports Soft tune and enter it into the challenge. I have clocked up many miles with this car and was almost happy with it during a test at Nurburgring GP/F when at 592pp I started putting in lap times below most of our other 600pp road cars. I was just unsure of the next changes to be made so I got @Dirty_Duck to give it a test drive and he suggested among other things to lower the power down to 550pp levels. I decided this morning to test out the new Data logger as I have not really had the time to do so yet and went back and did some laps @ GP/F as it was fresh in my mind and saved the fastest lap(Which was at the time 1:53.xxx) After taking in some of the data from the logger I added 1 click to the rear brake which took over a second off the lap time and later After a little more testing and another suggestion from my tuning partner(Reducing Roll Bars) I came back to the track and took my lap time down to 1:51.4xx with a minor excursion. The car is still very competitive at 592pp against most of the 600pp Road Cars but at 550pp I think it's got more than a real good chance of great results.

So may I take the time to introduce you to one of my new favourite 550pp Road cars, possibly my favorite 550pp car, period. The Ouillim Motors Spirra Prototype '04.

Have fun and enjoy your drive!

Another "Prancing Pony" joins the stable. A poster of this car was a fixture on my bedroom wall as a kid and has long been one of my favourite cars and one of the reasons why this is probably my favourite marque. I love the look and sound of this car and find it is very quick around various types of tracks. I have had some really great races with the GTO and would recommend it to anyone to use at 550pp, Even if it's not the fastest or the most agile car out there, it is overall very competitive and a whole heap of fun to drive.:D

Have fun and enjoy your drive!

Not quite a 500pp car but you won't notice the difference. The Dino is an awesome little car, I have been beaten a few times around the 500pp mark by this car whilst I have been using some of my S2000s, which I think are my favourite cars to use in this range. So I decided to see why everyone uses this car so much. Now I know!💡

Have fun and enjoy your drive!

Not quite managed to get through as much today as I had hoped! I've got to go sleep now but I shall be putting up 5 more tomorrow around 3-5pm BST when I get back in from work.

Lexus LFA Nurburgring Package(Second Version) 600pp RS
BMW M3 Chromeline 550pp RS
Acura NSX LM Race Car 530pp RS
Ferrari FXX 650pp RS
Pagani Zonda C12S 7.3 650pp RS

And I have another 10-15 in the pipeline for the near future. I know @Dirty_Duck has 10 or so he will be trying to get up this week too. I am looking forward to some of his new tunes very much, I have tested a few of them out over the past day or 2 and he has a couple in there guaranteed to put some big smiles on a few faces!

Thanks again for visiting our Little Garage.

This is my second attempt at tuning this car. It was the first tune I posted on GTPlanet back in December (The link for it is in the OP.) when I had really just started tuning and It was a bit hit and miss in my opinion. It worked great for me round Grand Valley Speedway, Fuji and Suzuka but anytime I took it to one of the flatter Tracks, like Monza, Indy RC or La Sarthe, I found it to be very twitchy under braking and even worse under acceleration at lower speeds.
Since then, I think I have learned a lot from reading most of the many guides out there as well some of the other Physics related threads and I decided to give this awesome machine another go.

I primarily tuned this version around Suzuka, but quickly took in to Monza to make sure that my previous problems didn't re-appear, after spending some time there I went to Nurb GP/F to button up the final few changes.

The Transmission shown above is set for on-line racing @ Monza and does give a little at the end for slipstreaming, but hopefully you shouldn't need it. I use the same gear ratios for Fuji and have had some real good races there. The tune also works well down at stock power levels but remember if you are going to de-tune the power you will need to alter the Final gear. (3.400/3.500 works well on most of the other GP tracks.)

Have fun and enjoy your drive!

This was the first car I drove when I got my hands on GT5 and got all of my shiny Chrome line cars. And the Photo up top was the first shot I took from that first run. I can still remember the feeling of driving this perfectly balanced beast round under the hot Californian sun as if it was yesterday...

I have taken a little time to get round to it this time but the time has come. I have used Brands Hatch, GVS, Nurb GP/F and of course Laguna Seca to tune this car. Transmission is set for GVS.

Have fun and enjoy your drive!

I think the cat's out of the bag! You may have already guessed but I am a bit of an NSX fan. If there is a chance I can use one of them in a race there's a fair chance I will. And this one is no exeption! And oh yes, I'm nuts for my bikes...

This car is like fire and ice to me, It has good power for it's pp range, as far as race cars go at least but the 5-Speed Transmission just won't let you get the performance of some of the others. But it's an NSX so you know it'll be balanced nicely and the transmission does have other advantages. Try it and see.

This is a short track specialist with great agility and a very precise nose, please remember from any of my other NSX's so far, I like the tail a bit slippery but. But no need to worry, You will have plenty of grip there when you need it and I have left a lot of rear downforce to play with if you so desire:D

I have tuned this one on Laguna Seca, Brands Hatch(Both), Deep Forest, Autumn Ring and Cote d' Azur. Current Transmission settings top at 155 MPH from standing in 1 Km(+/- 20 m), just thought you'd like to know.;)

Have fun and enjoy your drive!

Another GT300 car has been given a little going over down here under the mountain. I remember the Asparadrink version well from GT5 and as I recall it was only ever second place to the Garaiya on the twisty bits. This version should give it a run for it's money and should leave it for dead on the straights!
And no the number is no coincidence, this thing is a fighter with superb cornering ability and will always give as good as it gets, so there was only ever one number I could put on it's Racing Plates!
We here under the mountain remember the mighty Marco Simoncelli #58, Requiescat in pace!

great work! the car flies into curves.

Again this probably won't be the fastest tune out there but it was an easy gold on lap one and a still in the top 1000 with 1:22.258 with no NOS. Good luck guys and girls, go for the GOLD!

Have fun and enjoy your drive!

Tuning Question On Suspension (car shaking on turns)

There are a couple of other tunes for this car in the thread done by @DolHaus, @ImToLegitToQuit and @SDsnakebutt. If mine doesn't agree with your style go and try their's. And be sure to let them know if you found their work helpful.

Have fun and enjoy your drive.
