The power's out. What did you expect?

It is not often that a major US city’s entire downtown looses power.

I should have grabbed a screenshot. Every one of those buildings were dark.

The event seems to be over now anyway so…
 
Don't tell me, let me guess. You've never seen a blackout before, right? An hour or two without power occasionally is almost routine in some places.

Because multiple major US Cities have never lost power at the same time.

As others have said, its happened before. Also, that one happened due to a tree pretty much. Baltimore, New York, Toronto, Detroit and Cleveland and surrounding areas lost power. 55 million affected.

Its not really newsworthy to be discussing that a storm knocked out power for a short period of time.
