It is not often that a major US citys entire downtown looses power.
I should have grabbed a screenshot. Every one of those buildings were dark.
The event seems to be over now anyway so

As others have said, its happened before. Also, that one happened due to a tree pretty much. Baltimore, New York, Toronto, Detroit and Cleveland and surrounding areas lost power. 55 million affected.
He said "not often", not "never".
Or is your point that it's not worth talking about things that have happened before?
