EDIT: The first Scirocco is the 15th Anniversary one, and the second is the race car. It was a nice guess here, but wrong. Theres no possibility to the second Scirocco be made by a livery editor made. It was a nice shot anyway.

I was watching the GT6 concept movie again, trying to find a mistery car from another topic and I saw a detail that look like it was missed for most people.

At about 2:50 of the trailer, we could see two blue Sciroccos Cup cars racing each other. At that point, its ok, just two blue Sciroccos that looked the same. But what most people didn't noticed is that the two blue Sciroccos got some different detailing. Here´s the first Scirocco:

It just looks like a very stock Scirocco. If you notice, there aren't any numbers. It looks the same Scirocco as we see on the 15th anniversary version. Then, the video starts to capture the second Scirocco:

And finishes the "Scirocco show" at this image:

Notice that the second Scirocco got a number, two Castrol´s paintings, a strange sponsorship at its side, orange side mirrors and an orange detail at the front-top. These details aren't present on the other Scirocco, that looks "stock".

There are two possibilities about this:
1) The first Scirocco is a race car with no livery and the second one is a race car with Nurburgring livery. As it does happen with Audi R8 LMS on GT5.
2) The first Scirocco is a stock version and the second one is a personalized Scirocco, with number and details added by someone who customized his/her car.

If the second possibility is true, than we got some sponsorship editing, we are able to change the side mirrors colors, put a number and etc.. But it looks that we are not able to put our own words on our car =(

PS: I didnt found any thread like this and I looked for in 3 pages. Sorry if I'm creating an unnecessary thread.

I find it more likely that it is like the 2009 Audi R8 LMS typ42 and the Mazda Furai, a race car with different paintjobs available at the dealer. I would like to believe that an active livery editor exists but the fact that the 15th Anniversary cars even exists makes me doubt it.

If all we're going to get is a simple decal application thing, then simply not allowing the 15th anniversary stripes to be used in that context is all that's needed to keep them "exclusive".

The above pictures would be consistent (along with that Mini, way back when) with such a primitive decal projection "livery editor".

Not that it's proven beyond reasonable doubt, just that there is still doubt either way.

I admire your enthusiasm about more livery possibilities. But after all the PD advertisements I've seen I know they hardly ever have hidden surprises. They showcase their best and only imo. IMO....again, In my opinion.

Maybe they'll have a RM scirocco that can add in and be three different ones, but I doubt that too.

Its exactly what I´ve tried to say on the possibility one. Maybe its just like the GT500 premium GTR-s: Already made liverys. Maybe.

the first Scirocco is 15th anniversary version, the second Scirocco is the 24h race car.

I cant see the stripes on the Scirocco I´ve posted.

In this picture, you can see the stripe clearly. In the other car, not. I actually doesn't see it. However, it is possible that we have a combination between the material of the stripe and the light position of the car that makes the stripe almost invisible at that angle.

EDIT:
@A_Higher_Place: Thats another possibility (different RM´s). Too sad they rarely hidden things =/, but we still got at least 50 more cars to be revealed, so there are still more things to expect.

@Griffith500: It looks like that the second car is the car you have on the link.
Hmm... The livery is not identical, there is a Bilstein decal missing, but I think that there is more chance that the second car is not livery customized. Too bad =/.

If you look closely, mainly at the top of the front bumper, you can see a part of the tire strip design.

Note the patterns on the bumper here

now look closely just on the bumper for the same patterns

heres a shot from a few second earlier

Hmm...Thanks all.

The earlier shot make the stripe very clear.

So, the first one is 15th anniversary edition, and the second one is the race car.

Well, it´s time to just wait then... =/... Maybe we will get a good livery editor.

Actually they switch spots... The shot from behind shows the 15th Anniversary in front, while the shot from the front shows the 15th Anniversary in back.

What about that mystery black and orange car that was at the back when the R18 first appeared. It looked like a black Scirrocco and I don't know of any black scirrocco race cars.

Actually, Gran Turismo games usually have a number of things which remain to be discovered when we get our sweaty little hands on them. GT5 was the first game which we knew almost everything about it before we got it. I made a huge list in another thread of things we don't know about GT6 yet. And it's incomplete. ;)

We know that GT6 will offer us something... we'll just have to wait for TGS to see what those somethings are.

I would be greatly disappointed if it did not have one or it was very limited. My reason for wanting it...if your in a same make/model race would be nice to be able to customize each so you don't have a bunch of blue or red cars driving around. You can tell who's who in the zoo! Race videos look so fake when the cars have the same colors or designs on them even if the cars themselves look real! ie. Trans Cammer.
