Hello fellow creators,
I'm having a bit of an issue with the decal uploader at the moment, I've created some graphics in Adobe Illustrator CC that I've exported as SVG's, and uploaded to GranTurismo Decal uploader without any issues. but when I view my designs in-game they appear broken and distorted, has anyone else encountered this issue or found a fix?

As you can see the decal appears to be broken in-game

I was having the same problem in Illustrator, couldn't figure it out either, so I started using Corel.

First don't export as a SVG. Use "Save As" to make your SVGs in illustrator and ensure they are v1.1

With regards to your issue. Sometimes its due to compound paths. Mask work fine but i havent gotten compound paths to work. So ungroup everything. Right click on each letter that is affected and see if you can release the compound path. These paths are common on letters like O, R, P, D etc where there is a knockout within the letter (shape inside the D for example). So when you release the compound path, its going to fill in the shape inside the letter to the same colour as the letter. All you need to do is select the two paths now and use the pathfinder to knock out the shape inside the letter creating one shape rather than 2 separate shapes overlapping.

Hope that helps.

Save as doesn't work for me here, it produces broken svg. Export works fine, and you can choose the version there too.

@Belifant - That depends on the version of Illustrator your using. The most up to date CC Illustrator Save As svg gives you more options than export to svg.

This absolutely helped! Thank you very much.

The problem seems to be mainly in the exporting method, I'm now using 'Save As' route you suggested instead of using the 'Export' function. :D
