Load failed ! ! !

I use PS2 console version. 70006 .
I open to eject the DVD before turn off the Consol(when the light was green)

next day It said "Load Failed" I try another GT4 disk and it didn't work so.
I can download another game but not GT4 lol Why?

I open the memory card without insert the game the GT4save was there but I can't download it. Why?

Why it happend to me ?

So Is there anything to play my save again ? Please tell
If not I will kill myself by eating memory til I can't breath

I'm confused... what's your problem?

It sounds like you've downloaded a gamesave file for GT4 and can't get it to work with your game, but I can't be sure. Take us through it step by step.

sounds like the GT4 disc won't load up, but others do, maybe a scratched disc? then if the save/game doesnt work then they will commit suicide by eating their memory card and choking on it, but thats my guess (last bit seems very drastic though)

The talk of a GT4 save and "download" suggests to me that he's downloaded a GT4 game save file and can't get it to work. But I can't be sure.

Maybe he means the data got corrupted when he opened the disc tray and now won't load??

I think I had the problem he's talking about. I downloaded a File to the maxdrive and it wouldn't work, then it corrupted my memory card so I couldn't load or save any games to it. I had to use another memory card to play GT. I think they sell things to reformat them though, try to find what I'm talking about.

If it is a memory card problem, that is because of something you did, or a bad save file. Check out the Corrupt Data Club.

If it is a CD problem, search "DRE" or "Disk Read Error" for fixes.

My problem is : I cannot load the GT4 game save data from my 8MB memory card because they keep saying "Load Failed" the time that red-little-memory card was show before you play the game. I only can play the game without my saving data.
BTW, I open the Consol without insert the DVD the GT4data memory still there in my memory card.

So Is there anything to play my saved game again ?

Well, I'd say try it at another playstation console, maybe a friend's one? I doubt it will work but it's worth a try. But as I see it, your GT4 data on your memory card is corrupted. If you can see the data while not inserting any Playstation disc in the console, then the problem lies on your GT4 data...

Trying other consoles won't do anything. The data is corrupt. Nothing you can really do besides erase it off your memory card and start over again.

Sorry to resurrect a thread but better than making a new one. I took a break from a series of racing in my 787B and I turned it back on just now about an hour later and my screen keeps showing up Load Failed! (i'm assuming it's the GT4 save that won't load). So... Am I screwed over again by corrupt data or is there a fix to this?

I'm going for the "srewed over again" thing...What about auto save? Be sure to hve it off, it's rather weird data gets corrupt after an hour
