Logitec G Pro Wheel Issue (anyone familiar)

Newbie with new logi G Pro wheel and pedals.

I have been having an issue with this wheel since purchase.

I have new ps5 pro to run it

after racing off and on for a few hours one of a few symptoms appear

I lose functionality of the knobs that are used to select or scroll through the menus - TC - Brake Bias - map radar thingee - both Left and Right knob go dead - i can grab my hand controller and it still allows scrolling - wheel does not

Or

the wheel will start modulating back and forth ever so slightly. at a stop or heavy left and right wheel modulation at hi speed -

wheel modulation happens if I have not used my menu selection knobs for awhile therefore not noticing the issue and it seems to progress to the steering wheel modulation issue second.

was sitting in my first practice lobby in front row when i felt the wheel start modulating as the countdown began to start race - panicked and tried to change menus to see if they were dead and they were not responsive - GREEN LIGHT CAME ON so i pulled over and let everyone pass and started last to be safe for erveryone. -

near shikane on reverse dragon I lost all wheel feedback freaked a bit as i was in close quarters to vehicles and wound up ruining someones day....

exited game - reboooted G pro wheel and then all is well -

then my Boss mustang would not meet the racing criteria - same car I have been using in the practice snail room for several days. I added my first livery minutes before practice to the car that was completley stock and my PP points went up enough to not allow entry.

Not the spectacular last place position I was expecting for my first nights race -

apologies to whomever I wiped out

sorry for the pathetic attempt at my first nights race on snail /

Anyone have experience with this wheel issue?

Ant

Since I'm pretty sure you're not averse to a bit of reading, have a look through this thread at your leisure. Couple of pertinent posts;

and a settings resource may help with finding a solution.

I run the GPro and pedal set on a PS5 Pro as well and other than the GT7 update (1.57) that deleted online lobby True Force support and was then fixed with update 1.58, I've had no issues with the wheel.

Do you remove your wheel on a regular bases? I have heard to NOT put the PS into rest mode and remove the wheel if you go into pause or shut down the game - this is something I can never seem to do until it starts acting all stupid -

thanks for the links - will read

I don't think I've taken my wheel off the base more than 3 times since initial installation, in December '24, and that's only been with everything powered off. I also only run the PS5 in rest mode when an update is expected, otherwise it's shutdown.
