Trying to get my ole' Logitech Driving force to work with the PC version of GRID but I've tried nothing and I'm all out of ideas. I'm sure there's a way I can finagle it to work, but I don't know how. Right off the game supports :

Microsoft X360 controller
Logitech G25
Logitech MOMO
Logitech Driving Force Pro
Thrustmaster RGT Force Feedback Pro

so I was thinking maybe I could somehow trick the game into thinking I have one of those wheels it might work. I don't know. I'm sure you guys have had trouble getting your wheels to work with a game before. Can ye help?

Well I got the wheel working with grid...kinda, force feedback isn't working for some reason. I mean, it works outside of the game, when testing the wheel in Windows. Playing without the force feedback would be no fun :) - Wonder what to do now...

Forget it... I tried GRID with my DFGT Pro and it was woeful to the point I no longer own the game. Stay with the controller and it wont ruin the GRID experience for you. :)

Eh I can't really enjoy racing games without a wheel. Unless they're like dirtbike or ATV racing games. Wheel doesn't work with trackmania either :( - Damned wheels are a pain in the arse compatibility wise but sure are fun when they're working. Thanks.

Oh yeah, are there any PC games that actually recognize the Driving Force? I played Need For Speed underground with it but that was in 2004 :P - You'd think it'd be compatible with all games by now but I can't find any.

Try GTR Evolution on the PC. You should be able to (if not done already) download the drivers from logitech for the wheel.
Punch out some laps of the Ring :)

And this is the reason why I stay away from Logitech wheels. There is no excuse for a PC wheel not to have drivers that work with every PC racing game.

You mentioned GRID and Trackmania......it's funny because my Frex wheel works with both of those games like a dream right out of the box. In fact, it works extremely well with GRID. GRID delivers some of the best FFB I have ever felt. When you get to the Drift events, it is AMAZING!!!!! Very very aggresive and fast. Reminds me of the FFB I feel when playing the arcade version of Sega's Daytona USA.

Hello all.

I thought my driving force was not working with grid as well but it just didn't play well with there ready made logitec wheel profile in game. You need to go to custom tab in controls, and hit ctrl then begin normal button/axis mapping by highlighting desired input, hitting enter, then the action on wheel. Advanced i put linearity to 100% for a good feel.

Completely different game with a wheel, its much more fun now. Im doing all the races on beginner right now till i know tracks like the back of my hand. Turned all the driving aids off so the back end could hang out a bit in turns and have hit some truly fast laps from it.
