Hello everyone, first post here on the forums.

Anyhow, I've been using the old Logitech Driving Force that only turns at a 90 degree angle since GT3 days. Recently for the new GT5 demo, I can only manage to get 1:41.5-9's consistently with the tuned 370z. Is it time to upgrade to a G25 or G27? I really couldn't find a post about the ooooold Driving Force in comparison through the search engine due to DF GT and pro pop up instead. I bet it's a given already though to just upgrade.

DF-200 degree steering
Paddles behind the wheel
Accl/brake pedals
Force feedback
G25/7-900 degree steering(although this can be ajusted)
Paddles behind the wheel
6 speed 'h' shifter
Accl/brake/clutch pedals
Dual force feedback motors
Leather wheel rim

^they are the basic features, hope it helps!

I have sort of a similar question, so I figured I would post in this thread. I have a Driving Force EX, the one with the blue rubber grips on the wheel. I don't have a PS3 yet, but plan to get one in time for GT5, and want to know if they will be compatible or if I will need to upgrade my wheel.

Thanks to anyone who has any info

Yes the DF EX is compatible. You can set it up in the option screen. I'd recommend a upgrade to at least DFGT though :)

I probably will eventually, but I gotta buy the PS3 first, and so if the EX will work for a while, then maybe I will use it on GT5P and by the time GT5 (full version) comes out, I will be able to justify dropping the $150 for the DFGT.

Thanks for the info though

Thanks for the info, I was just wondering how much force feedback the other wheels put out in comparison to the Driving Force since my wheel right now feels way too light on the feedback and offers no strength adjustment.

I got my DFGT on eBay for $60 shipped.
