Logitech G Pro Wheel Dials?

I am considering purchasing the g pro wheel. I noticed that the GT7 options do not allow you to remap the dials. This makes me nervous that they don’t do anything. So can anyone who uses this wheel with GT7 tell me what the dials do? I’m hoping one is MFD selection and the other is MFD adjustment. If so which is which?

Side note: I’d really love it if we could map buttons/dials to specific MFD functions. For example make the right hand dial always adjust fuel etc.
