Logitech G25 - how do you use paddles/clutch?

Hello,

I know there are many threads in here concerning my question, that you use the triangle at the start of the race to use the clutch, but it doesn't work.

Do I need to do anything special for this to work? At which exactly time should I press the triangle? And the triangle button is supposed to be the top black one on the shifter right??

..and what about the paddles? I though that during the race I could use both shifter OR paddles?

What am I doing wrong? help!

...other than that the g25 RULES! :D

If you push the shifter down, you can then move the circular knob on the shifter over to H-pattern. This disables the paddles and enables you to use the H-box as you would in a normal manual car. NOW you can press the button you are referring to in order to enable the clutch 👍

All the best
Maz

I still don't get it... I already have the shifter on the H pattern and I CAN'T use the clutch. When do I press the triangle? Do I have to have the shifter pushed down when I click on the triangle? Do I need professional settings?????

...and so... you mean that I can only use the paddles ONLY when using the sequential shifter? :/

CONFUSED!!!

You also need to press triangle after the race countdown. 3, 2, 1, START.

Certain cars only have torque converters or computer controlled dual-clutches. You wouldn't get manual clutch with the Lexus IS-F, the Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG, and the Audi TT.

Yes, you can only use manual clutch with the H-shifter, but the car needs to support it too. I think the Nissan GT-R is also another car that lacks a clutch pedal.

finally got it!...

just for anyone that ends up in this thread and is looking for the same thing, you need to press the triangle immediately AFTER "START" appears, after the countdown...

..clutch rules! I dont have a stand for the wheel and shifter to fully enjoy it, and I dont know why people complain about the clutch 'jumping' gears, if not stepped on properly... but I just LOVE the way it works...

GT becomes a different experience... I wasn't expecting it to be ALL that good...
