Hi all

i am really looking forward to the Logitech G25 and i was wondering whether it will be compatible with GT5 on the PS3. Seeing as it has a clutch pedal i would have thought that GT5 should enable us to stall the car if it is going to work. Can somone tell me whether it will be compatible with it thanks. (IF u know lol)

go there if u dont know about this truly amazing wheel...

thanks

You would assume it would considering the DFP is fully supported by GT4 but, at the minute, the only people that know are PD and Logitech.

Yep... that's the way it usually goes. For me , I'm more interested in wether or not GT5 supports the DFP. I really can't afford a PS3, GT5, and G25 combination when GT5 comes out... :scared: I think there's a high possiblility that the G25 is GT5 compatible though. I'm gonna go crazy if the DFP isn't compatible....

I kinda have to agree. While I could afford it, it'll kill a big slump in my wallet.

$600 system + $300 wheel + $50-$60 game?
That's close to a $1,000....:scared:

-> I kinda hesitant of getting DFP right now because I feel weird with the flappy-paddles. I'd rather play GT5 with the clutch and do some heel-toe and stuff. And hey, I'm willing to spend a grand at least I can get myself off the (real life) streets racing people and ricers. (:

Probably will be around $1,000 if you include taxes

You can buy a real car for that kind of money (even if it isn't that great).

I'm curious how compatible it'll be. Will GT5 have a clutch? I'm betting that both GT5 and Forza 2 have a clutch option, but we'll see in the coming months.

As for the G25.... when it hits $170, I'll consider it... :P

Thanks. I wonder if he's the same guy on RSC.com.

He's told them the same thing. They don't have enough info on GT5, let alone the PS3 so right now, it's unlikely.

I really hope it's not as "limited production" as they say it is...
That's just the 1st set of them like the GT Logo on the DFP that's now been seen with Logitech's.

50-60 for GT5??? hahah nice try think more of 80-100 bucks my friend, at the SONY press conference the guy said the next-gen games will cost from a player starting from 60-100 buks:crazy: . so i am guessing that GT5 game will be very very HUGE in terms of game size and price :ouch:
as well i think the DFP will be compatible via USB :sly:

I don't know but it does seem likely after gt3 and gt4 both utilized a logitech wheel. I couldn't see pd putting the time and effort into a gt5 just to use a mere dfp. C my point :)

My suspicion is that Logitech will release a PS3-specific version of the wheel around the time that GT5 is coming out.
