Sorry if this has been posted before, I found nothing on GTP or Google search so i decided to ask the question. If a mod feels like it's an useless thread, please close it

Hi everyone. After trying my G27 with GT5P (which is a brilliant combo :D) I decided to try NFS:S, but i have a big problem: The 🤬 game doesn't wanna work with my wheel. It doesn't recognize it or anything. The wheel is just stiff. When I tried the diagnose race I felt i could do more, because for me the DS3 is just useless now for racing (After a night of G27+GT5P...controller=nevera again). When the race begins the car just doesnt respond, I move the steering wheel and the car goes straight, the accelerator does nothing, neither the brake pedal, or the shift paddes, it's useless. I went to the options menu and the 🤬 geniuses at EA don't have a set-up for wheels :ouch:.

After spending almost $300 on a wheel, it's somewhat frustrating to see it doesn't work with half my PS3 game collection (You guessed it, GT5P and NFS:S :lol).

Can anyone help me?

Does your controller work in the game when the steering wheel is plugged in?
If so, hold the PS button on the controller and put it on channel 2. (if on2, put it on another channel)

It's also good to already use the steering wheel for the menu (also to press start) so that you don't have that problem.

Actually, my controler DOES work in game while the wheel is plugged in. It was on channel 1, thanks a lot for the advice. I'll try it and tell you how it goes 👍.

NFS:Shift has this issue. When you start the game, make sure that you use the buttons on your wheel to select the game and only the buttons on your wheel. Don't touch the controller again. It will then recognize your wheel as the main controller and you should be fine.
