you wouldn't want to do that with your clutch. You can start by changing you brake balance to suit without an e-brake. But eventually you're going to need an e-brake. I have a controller held onto the side of my DFGT with rubberbands and I use the L2 for e-brake.

I have an easy to make DIY E-brake just using a flight sim stick linked to R3 stick (R3 down set to E-brake in game menu) on the ds3 (set to P1) for a sweet gradual E-brake look in my GTp albums. It cost me £6 to make (the price of the Logitech attack 3 flight sim stick I used) but u could use other thing rather than a flight sim stick I know a door handle or bike brake lever would work or just a bar/stick on an axis with a return spring.
tip; using elastic for sim stick to R3 ds3 connection can make E-brake stick on.

I tried a pen on my r3 but r3 just flopped about.

R3 is too sensitive and if the pen weighs to much it just flops to one side.

Than use pencil. you dont need a super big object, just make sure its centered.

Use a rubber band to hold the R3 up & set R3 down as E-brake.
