I have a G25 and GT wheel and have owned older model wheels. It seems the potentiometer in the pedals are the ones that always goes first. And it seems they make it impossible to actually replace just that part so that you are stuck buying a whole new wheel set. So my question is, what would be the best alternative to this problem?

I found one guy replace the problem potentiometer with a different model or size but had to reconfigure the gearing in the pedals. I find this to much of a hassle.

Another solution would be to replace the pedals with another brand that would work with the G25, G27 or the GT wheel. So what would you recomend and why? I think an after market pedal with replacement parts would be a great solution. Who, where and how much would it be?

Try cleaning them with contact spray first, it seems to work for a lot of people as the pedals are prone to dust getting into them. If you need to replace the pot, you're looking for a 10K linear with 20 mm shaft. A good electronics store should carry it or be able to order in.

If not, maybe try this solution.

Great tip! Thanks.
