Hi all,
Top forum/site so thought I should start to contribute.
I'm part of (run it in fact) a fun league that has certainly helped keep the world of GT5 alive for a few of us, it's here, not a plug, no advertising on site or anything so just sharing.
We've settled on a few focussed classes:
TC500 - 4 door 500pp Racing Meds
GT590 - Japanese 2wd, 590pp race cars on Racing Meds
650Open - 650pp 2wd race cars, open tyres.
We did have 587pp Road cars but that got a bit stale through last season.
The fun in the league is that we have all aids turned off except ABS, and in 650Open we allow TCS. So given we're not the next world champion we have some good races.
Also, we're uploading videos of our races, not the best quality, but certainly something we enjoy re-watching.
Why am I spouting all this? Well, two of the league members are new Dads so have a lot less time on their hands, so we're considering opening it up to some external racers...
We're based in Australia (so crazy times for most) and really focus on the gentleman racing approach to driving - the points races are more to give focus than have any accolade at the end of the season. Race nights are Thursdays at around 9pm Au-EST.
Anyway, anyone interested? Drop me a line - don't expect greatness, do expect great fun.
