I just have a regular skateboard.

This. Now being able to ride it? That's a whole other story, unless I want to experience some major pain .

I can still kickflip and mess around a bit in the bowl at the local skatepark. I think there are maybe 5 or 6 tricks I can do with any regularity. I probably hop on it 5 times a year :indiff:

The other week I was waiting for my ride to the beach and I skated around my driveway with only my reefs on. It was all good until I tried to ollie and the grip tape yelled at my foot while the sandal yelled at my toes.

Good for you, I wish I had that kind of balance. I'm pretty nimble on my feet (I play basketball and lacrosse), but I'm not good with anything on wheels except a bike or a car .

The last time I went longboarding it was in high school and we bombed a fairly long, windy residential street at about 11pm. Halfway through it started drizzling and the moisture was not friendly to the asphalt :scared:. I can't count the times any one of up jumped off our boards to avoid slipping out.
