Introduction​

This will be brief because...well I already spent way too much time in Photomode as it is. I managed to pick the game up today, and despite the fact I just destroyed my USB stick (I do have another) these are some of the shots I took today. I am more of a real-life photographer (You'll find me in the Photography section on GTP quite frequently), and these were my first tries. A "see what it can do" exercise. I only had a limited time, however.


I also want to say that I'm willing to take requests, if people have them. Though I probably won't be able to get to them until this weekend or so.

Yeeeeaaah. I should have really fixed that in PP but I didn't have time. I scuffed it in the rush to get it to this part of the course and then didn't want to do it all over again (I didn't have the time to, anyway.) I was just so excited, haha. Photomode is going to consume my life...

Hahaha, you're probably right about that. I didn't think of it at the time but it is kind of a smiley car...

Thanks. There's so many options, and all without the cost of those f/1.4 lenses (or f/1.0, which is the lowest in GT5). I can't wait to have a chance to check it out even more, I only managed this one shoot, on this one track. The only thing I don't like, is how clunky the controls feel.

Well gee, these are very nice, and the focus on the car is splendid--you've done a good job of capturing motion by singling out the car and blurring out the rest. Very good work here, Longbow, and I certainly can't wait to get my copy so I can start my own gallery.

As for what's next...I honestly have no idea. I would like to do something unusual, probably. Though I really do want a ZR1. But something unusual and not photographed yet would appeal to me...

The automotive (and the model competitions) are on temporary hiatus until the calendar is finished. I can only deal with so many things at this time, I've been very busy this last little while.

Thanks! It was my first go at it with limited time. I hope I'll have some time to do a little more tomorrow or Thursday. I had a few more shots, but since I broke my USB, those shots will stay on my PS3 for the time being (the only reason I had these still was I sent them to Adam [Speedster502], we were comparing first shots. And then I said.."er....could you send them back to me?").

Yeah, there are a lot of options. A LOT. You won't be disappointed. I'm looking forward to trying phototravel as well. I only got to do this one car and track...

Do you think you could get few pics of the 2010 Camaro SS? (Yellow, 1 in PhotoTravel @ the hangar, 1 in PhotoMode using the style that leaves the color on the vehicle and makes everything else B&W, and 1 using the previously mentioned along with the style you have in your second photo)

Thanks, I appreciate it. The car is actually white. The lights in the tunnel did that to it, but I "helped" it a little.

Thanks! I mildly tweak them but nothing major. And resize them, of course. I'm sure you can do it, it just takes practice and familiarity with the equipment. ^^

I competed in two races in a Viper ACR racing series. I was doing alright, in fact the second was coming down to a close finish when I made a mistake on the unforgiving 'Ring. Which is where these pictures are from. Mine is the black with red wheels, if you wish to know.

This is only a "sort of" update. This gallery is still...pretty much dead.

I only did a little in PS, not too much. Quickly on each one.

Well, thanks guys! I appreciate it. I probably should have weeded a few shots out, some of them I included simply because it was covering the "race" and not just me taking pictures randomly. But regardless, I'm glad you guys liked 'em. I'll consider putting some more sometime!
